Great Tyres
Great Tyres. Can't find anything to fault them. Wearing well and excellent in all weather conditions. Very quiet on the road. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Good quality tyre
Not a bad tyre, a little noisy at times on different surfaces but all in all, not a bad tyre. Probably not the cheapest price but there's way more expensive ones out there that honestly don't have any more life compares to some cheaper options.
Not Quite What Cracked Up To Be Like all the big brands try to claim too long life. In the process make new thread too deep which make them very noisy for the first 10000km. I m not naming and shaming but they were all high-end A/T Tyres. BFG KO2 s on the other hand, they stand up to the toughest tracks in Australia and even places where there are NO tracks. We wouldn t even consider another tyre, for work on serious tracks (that are not maintained) in the top end- they re second to none. 4 stars because KO1 s were far better, if we could still get them we would.Read more

I bought one of the last ko tires 2 years ago and it was on my car for 18 months travelling about 12,000km. When I took the wheel off to change the brake pads I found severe spliting all arounr the edge of the tire near the rim. The rep saw the tire and blamed me driving it for an extended period at low pressure. I have always run at 40psi and done nothing more than unsealed road with this tire. All of the older BFG s on the car are fine some doing 70,000km so far, but this 2015 manufactured tire isthe only problem have ever had.Looking at all these comments just shows that they have dropped the ball and i am not the only one getting poor customer service. Since these have been fitted I have continued to have many adventures off road taking on rocky tracks and sand dunes, and also the dreaded tarmac, the only issue I have had that I have never had in the past is the sand managed to get between the tyre and the rim along with a match stick sized twig. The only change I would like to see is rim protectors added on the next model other than that chose your tyres carful and be clear of what you want from your tyres when dealing with the sales team and you should have many great adventures with a set of theseRead more

I made the mistake after having 4 sets of the old types K0 s thinking the new would be the same tyre NOT true !! the new model are crap and neatly code me my caravan and car. The Differences are: 1/ There are No three ply side walls. 2/ The rim protector is gone 3/ The tyre surface is slightly rounder. 4/ You could balance the older ones I cannot get the wobble out of there. The older tyres were good on the road had great grip in wet or dry these tyres are dangerous and very dangerous in the wet had mine break surface on a slightly wet road into a corner with the caravan on the back doing 10 km less than the advisory speed sign once broke there was no control had come off of the breaks and drive it out. Do not buy these tyres thinking they are based on the older model these are made to a price without the consumer in mind shame on Goodrich actually DONOT buy these tyres at all.Read moreSimilar opinion? Not 500kms into it, one tire had crack splits along half the circumference of the tire, which I took back the dealer. Dealer thought it was odd being only the one tire, and said I should leave the tire with them especially since the other 3 were completely and totally fine. 6 weeks later after leaving it at the tire shop Michelin came out to inspect and said the tires are perfectly fine and safe to drive, even though some of the blocks were split had come off due to the cracks - not something you d expect after paying top dollar for premium tire. A very expensive disappointing experience for what is meant to be a tough off road tire, can t even handle my driveway, I proceeded to fit General Grabbers on my other car after this experience, and the Grabber ATs were super impressive and quieter too. Seems I have the same experience as many on here have, bad QC or storage in the sun? I don t know, the tire does not stand up to its reputation and Michelin don t seem to care. Stay away from the KOs, terrible QC complete hit or miss , I won t be buying this anymore. hopefully the KO2 solves the problem but it s left a bad taste. The other 4 tires are great even after 2000kms of use in the same condition but sour experience, expect them to fail soon - go General or Coopers instead.Read moreSimilar opinion? Write a review!

Have done about 50,000km on them so far - the rear tyres are getting due for replacement soon and the front ones probably have another 15,000 more kms in them. I have never rotated the tyres, been pretty slack with keeping tyre pressures optimal for conditions and driven with gay abandon over particularly rough and rocky tracks. Plenty of terribly corrugated gravel roads, sand an mud. Never had a flat, tolerable level of road noise, very happy with on and off road performance. Noticed that sideways grip is terrible ie tendency for under steer. On highways they re bouncy to the point after 3 hrs I was nearly car sick. No so concerned about the noise but they re noisy. Rolling resistance is poor so I m expecting my fuel consumption to skyrocket. Tried playing around with tyre pressures but no help. I haven t done any off road yet so can t vouch for their ability. I don t give a damn about tyre wear as long as I get a good ride, good grip and a safe all round tyre but so far I m thinking of cutting my losses and going with something else less aggressive.Read moreSimilar opinion? Replaced my Cooper s Discovery S/T after 80000 plus with these tyres, due to one tyre having a high spot that wouldn t be covered by warranty. The BF tyres don t handle as well, are wearing faster and one bubbled on the side between the inside and outside wall. Bob Jane were very helpful but Goodrich wouldn t admit to a manufacturing fault and said it was user misuse. I never went off-road, kept tyres to dealer specs and didn t overload it, (as the rep suggested I had.) Warranty was refused. Do not buy one of these tyres if you expect warranty, friendly relations with the manufacturer, or a good wearing road tyre. I can t rate it as an off-road as I haven t tried it and am not game. I have had 4 sets on various vehicles over a number of years and have NEVER done less than 100,000Km on a set. My current Prado has done 115,000+Km and just about to change now. Unfortunately, I should have got an alignment a couple of years ago and maybe I would get another two or three years(160,000Kms.maybe!) out of them. I rarely rotate tyres, and have only done about 15,000km. off road (nothing extreme). I am very very happy with them. And they feel quiet to me. I run 36PSI in summer and 32 in winter, just to improve traction on tarmac roads. Could not be happier (well i could really....get 200,00Km. out of a set).Read more

I have in the past run some noisy and poor wearing tyres however the bfg all terrain I have found to be a great tyre. I am not an extreme four wheel driver however I have taken them on some challenging tracks. I find that both on road and off road that the traction is great. I have head a long time ago that a bad batch came to Australia that had poor wear. Luckily I have never personally experienced this nor has any of the people that I know who run them. And lets face it, what mass produced items have not had a fault in the past? I have found that with other branded tyres I have punctures and split sidewalls etc however I have never damaged a bfg to this extent.Read more

The rep said due to tyre pressure not as recommended that there is no warranty. Most people who use a four-wheel drive would use varying tyre pressures in different conditions. So the rep saying this was quiet bizarre to me. I replaced the two drive tyres to eliminate the cracking tyres with like brand at my own expense. The last straw was doing 105 on the freeway ( with the recomended tyre pressure and the whole tread peeled off the side walls. It looked like a failed retread. I then proceeded to a tyre shop who sells the BFG amounghst other brands who told me that there have been a lot of issues with this brand of tyre and his rep has been replacing them in warranty. Burnt by my rep and a sour taste from the brand I will not be trusting BFG on a vehicle my family travel in. My father s vehicle is also running this brand and has noticed cracking sidewalls. After running both BFG all terrain and BFG muddies on several vehicles it was very disappointed that the rep would not replace the tyres under warranty as I did treat these tyres any different to the ones I have previously run. I understand that people have a preference with tyres however I have experienced the Mickey Thompson ATZ on Prado s and hiluxs on harsh rocky roads to muddy conditions and long highway runs and have been very impressed with their performance.Read moreSimilar opinion? Since then have put them on all 6 work cars. 2 naturally aspirated, 2 straight 6 turbo and 2 v8 turbo. And every set have bought have been getting less and less kms, worst set recently around 50,000 (v8) all with rotate and balance every 5,000. I originally thought was due to the extra power and multiple drivers (including a few burnouts in the wet :P) Do some pretty hard driving with loaded trucks and trailers with a total curb weight of 4500 kilos not including 11 passengers. Most driving on road with very little gravel and mud work. Mud is hopeless lacking lockers and with roughly 5 tonne on board so is to be expected, no load on the other hand were pretty grippy in mud and on rock but put some load on em and forget it. Sand i found great with just car didnt have to drop pressure at all. But pricing continues to climb and is now peaking at $395 a tyre from bob jane! First set was $245 all running 285s all with harder rear springs for towing. But to their credit 9 years use not 1 puncture which has stopped me switching brands.Read more

They are quiet onroad and handle wet & dry bitumen great. The week I had them fitted they saved me buying a WRX! I ve used them offload a fair bit and they are great, never had a puncture and never been stuck. The one thing I will say is that for sand driving they need to be aired down to the 15 - 18psi range to get the footprint required. The tyre carcass is quite stiff being LT (light truck) rated. I tow a boat and have never needed to engage 4wd to get up a ramp. I shopped around before buying them and the choice for me was these, Mickey Thompson ATZ 4 rib or Cooper ST but the BFgs came with a good quality air compressor so the choice was easy, although I think I would have got these anyway. I have done around 25,000 on these tyres and they still look new - seriously. Check the price of a few sizes as the price between the 265/75s & 255/65s was over $100 per tyre! Overall, these are a damn good tyre and I m surprised to read that a few others have had issues. This has not been my experience at all, and I am happy to recommend them to anyone after a good on & off road tyre.Read more

Excellent performer on rough rocky trails with no damage to tyres to speak off. Also very little wear from hours of driving fully loaded on very hot bitumen during summer. However things change dramatically on wet bitumen. My Jeep cherokee(1995 model) has no traction control, ABS or limited slip diff. Hence they become very scary tyres going around corners and roundabouts in the wet. I ve lost count of the number of times the tyres have let go in the wet even when they were relatively new. The tread also tends to collect stones and clog with mud and is a little bit noisy. I ve just replaced the BF Goodrich Ats with a set of Hankook Dynapro AT-Ms and can t believe how much better the vehicle handles now. The Hankooks are a considerably better tyre in snow, ice and on wet bitumen.Read moreSimilar opinion? Write a review!

Looking to replace with a set of the same but they don t seem to manufacture in in this size any more. For the new more aggressive ATs I have been quoted well over $600/tyre.Read more

As a habit i rotate and balance the tires also wheel align front end every year as required.Very good all rounder and hard to be beaten by other tire in its class.Read more

For the money I will buy another brand, because of the following ruts. The tyres were also louder with road noise than other tyres used on my ute. The tyre wall also could not be fixed when it ripped.
