Great tyre BUT you've got to choose the light truck (LT) type
I'm on my second pair of cooper AT's, my first pair only lasted a bit over 45,000ks and I learnt a valuable lesson. Only ever look for light truck variants, the others are passenger vehicle tyres and not built as strong and also you can see in the specs the tread depth is much deeper on an LT. Second set are LT's and currently at 95,000k's with probably 15% left on them. Been all through the outback on major trips and never had a puncture. One drive from Longreach to Alice via the plenty highway I was the only 4WD out of 11 to not get a puncture.

2009 Nissan Patrol
Worst tyre ever
Well I don’t know how they say 80,000kms? I've only done 32,000kms on a set of A/T3 and they have had it, just had to order a new set of tires from my local garage – NOT Coopers, they must be the worst tires I’ve ever had.As other person said OK for first 20,000kms then went downhill.

Nissan Navara D40
Extremely Happy
Fitted 5 X AT3 to our Nissan Navara dual cab have just replaced them with 5 more couldn't be any happier as we completed 125,000kms, the men from Tyrepower said they could of gone a further 8-10k more but we replaced them as the compound seemed hard, and due to the fact living in the tropics we weren't going to risk the slippery roads...Great Tyres guys.

2001 Jeep XJ Jeep Cherokee 4.0 litre auto with ABS
Built in flat spots
I bought Cooper AT3 225/75R16 for Jeep XJ Cherokee 3 years ago based on good experience with the Cooper AT (265/70R15) having done 86000 trouble free km on mud sand and on road over period of 5 years on a previous vehicle. Presumed AT3 would be a better tyre from specifications. AT3 must be made by different company. At about 20000 km all 5 (yes 5 - I use 5 wheel rotation pattern every max 10.000 km) tyres became out of round with a flat spot about 300mm long and for the width of the tread. Cooper dealer stated that all 5 of my Jeep alloy rims are out of round? 2 tyres are wearing faster than the other three. Having persisted with this to the current 50,000 km, the vibration in the vehicle can no longer be balanced out. The only way to ignore the "woop woop woop" is to turn up the music and hope the road surface remains rough bitumen. Smooth tar, i.e. freeways, exaggerate the "woopy shakes". Fact not fiction. Cooper you've lost a customer here. This owner of many vehicles with tyre sizes ranging from 155R12 (Datsun 1200) to 11R22.5 (12 metre luxury touring coach with dual tag axle - 10 tyres on road) has never had such a woeful experience with a manufacturer or dealer!

Hyundai Santa fe
Disappointed
I fitted a set of these on my Hyundai Santa Fe, I tow an expanda off road caravan and needed extra grip. I had my only puncture soon after when a stick went right through the tread and ruined the tyre. This was in my drive way! The grip has been good in rough stuff but my biggest complaint is the very high noise levels, this sounds as if all the wheel bearings have gone at once. They are about half worn now and getting worse by the day. I won't fit them again.

Mitsubishi Challenger
No punctures on Gibb.
Bought 4 x AT3 for trip. Did Gibb, (towing 2.4t van) Mitchell, Kalumburu, Mornington, Bullita Homestead, Wolfe Creek and some of Tanami and many other NP dirt roads.I followed Cooper tyre pressure recommendations. No punctures in 20,000 km.Van had Cooper STTs and did most of above. Followed Cooper tyre pressure advice. No punctures there either.

Patrol Patrol Wagon and Patrol Ute
Love Cooper Tyre
I have run with Cooper S/T on my GU Patrol Wagon now for 83000 km with out a problem. Have driven some of the worst tracks in Australia with no worries. I have now also own a Patrol Ute which I have just fitted A/T3s to and enjoying the feeling that I have purchased the best tyres on the market. The trick to long life out of any tyre is to rotating them every 10,000 km. Would not run anything else on my cars. Happy Travels.

2012 Toyota hilux SR5
Done 76000 km on cooper at/3 no punctures no major damage
So now 76000km on the cooper at/3 tyres. Have done alot of 4wding on them from rocky creek beds to sand. Cant fault them , the wear has been even, no punctures, tough sidewalls and quiet on road. Will be going same again, you get what you pay for and i'm not willing to put my money into a cheaper product.

I brought the Cooper A/3 tyres in 2014 and they have been fantastic. So far I have got around 69,000
The Cooper A/3 are noisy on tar but great on dirt they definitely hold the road well I would recommend them to anyone I put them on my Rodeo 4wd. The reason I wanted good Tyre's was because I went across to Perth and back. They are a great Tyre and very safe. But it is almost time for new ones so going hunting but looking at the A3'S AGAIN FIRST.

120,000klm milage and one puncture.
Some background on the conditions in which these tyres have been operating... I am a hobby farmer (horses) and I like to do a bit of hunting and I live 70klm from my place of work. I have traditionally never managed to get a particularly good milage out of tyres because I do throw my cars around. I used to drive MG and Lotus cars when i was a young man.I cannot praise these tyres enough. They have raised my expectations of tyres and I am fully expecting to purchase them again when the factory tyres on my new cruiser wear out in a month or two.If i had one gripe it would be that they did have a tendency to aquaplane, although this could have been that fact they were fitted to my previous car a Hilux Duel Cab 4x4 and they are quite light. They have quite good capability on soft ground, not fantastic on black soil, but what tyres are.. Nice and comfortable on the highway and great on concrete carparks. They operate as advertised and last forever.

Cooper A/T 3 - can't fault them...
I have the A/T 3's on my 90 series Prado, and have had for the last 2 years now. I can not fault them. Have never let me down off road, however we keep it pretty mild... And on the highway they are fabulous. I will replace them with a more aggressive set of A/T's next time however this is only personal choice not by lack of ability in the A/T 3's.
