Great tyre for your buck!
Best price matched at Bob Janes. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Professional staff, good alround store. Great people. I have had these on my car and have been pretty impressed with them. Extremely paramount for me in wet weather, grip and braking. Good resistance also. I recommend these to any family or friend.

Ok, but noisy after a bit of wear.
These were factory fitted to our 2014 JH Cruze SRI-V (235/45R18) when we bought it new. Initially, they were great although handling in all sorts of conditions is been excellent. At ~20K the noise started. Now at 35K, with probably 10K left on the tread, the noise is intolerable. I think the wear rate is OK. We live in country SA in a small town so the car only comes out for longer trips on open roads. A short trip for us is ~80K I m looking for alternatives.

The difference is like chalk and cheese!
I own a 2007 Tiida Q with 17 rims. I bought 4 new Dunlop Sport Max 215/45r/17 tyres @ $220 each after reading a review on how good a performance tyre they were. I never felt confident on them. They didn t seem to grip well going round corners in the dry let alone in the wet, hence I needed to slow down appreciably in the wet. When they finally wore out (which while they lasted 60,000 k s, couldn t come quick enough) I changed to Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 tyres which cost just $200 each. The difference is like chalk and cheese! The RE002s are a massive improvement over the Dunlops, massive. I was raving about them to anyone who would listen, how they were cheaper than the Dunlops, how much gripper in all conditions they are - just unbelievable compared to the Dunlops; they should buy some! And I got 55,000 k s out of them to add to the good news on the performance. Needless to say when I recently replaced the Bridgestone s I just bought them again, no question, no research required. The new set of RE002 s is just as good. And the kicker? The RE 002 s at changeover cost me less than the Dunlops each time.

Great handling tyre
Installed the Adrenaline RE002 on my GT86 with 245/40/18 fronts and 265/35/18 rears, it handles perfect as and way faster and flatter around the corner when I have extra stickier rubber. Stock tire size was 215/45/17 from toyota prius (michelin primacy hp). Its quiet and comfortable at high speed, but noisy and bumpy at low speed. But handling improves alot!

Great tyre - smooth and reliable
I have owned a Peugeot 206 GTI 180 for a couple of years but when I bought it had the worst tyres possibly in existence. Absolute crap in terms of how hard they were on the road which is a major issue with low profile tyres. After an obsessive amount of research I finally saw a deal for a set of Bridgestone Potenzas and read the reviews and was sold. Fantastic tyres that handle well but importantly are comfortable on the road. i scaled the tyres up to the 215/45/17 from 205/40/17. Nice to have some extra rubber on the road.

Good tyres for sports cars
I have 205 45/R16 RE002s. Here are my points: They are quiet on smooth roads but VERY NOISY on rough roads. They are not comfortable on rough roads and don t handle well on gravel Great around corners, handling is excellent Good grip in wet I wouldn t get these tyres in a profile lower than 55, they are just too hard even with 35 psi. These tyres did not suit my needs for comfort, low noise and handling on gravel. Apart from that they are good tyres.

Great traction and launch grip!! - Recommended for performance
I drive your typical falcon V8, 275rwKW, 780n.m Torque. My previous tyres - just standard ones I can t recall what they were, I could not even use half the cars potential from standstill I would just end up doing a dirty big skid. Well I slapped two of these onto the rear, 19inch, and the improvement was amazing. I can use every bit of power that car has from standstill now with minimal wheelspin, I m no longer scared to put the pedal to the metal. Can t really comment on NOISE as all I can hear is my engine, nor wear as I just bought them. My review is vague I apologise, I just wanted to put one down for anyone who is looking for a good tyre for the reasons I ve written above!

Best tyres available
I changed from Dunlops in the front and firestones on the back. I have a BMW 325i and The previous tyres compared to my 4 new RE002s are night and day. I m an enthusiastic driver and take advantage of the 3 series perfect 50/50 weight distribution with drive going to the back. Before I would get a hint of understeer if I entered a roundabout a bit too fast or took a turn in the wet with the speed of a dry road. When pulling off in the wet with moderate acceleration the back tyres would often light up the ASC (traction) light warning of slip and I would feel the traction control braking the affected wheel robbing me of power. This resulted in the ASC being completely disabled. Normally this would be a no brainer for a clar nut but being an open diff and no LSD it s not fun at all, just an awkward skid on one side. In corners in the wet doing 80/90kph the ASC would kick in. After getting all 4 tyres replaced with the RE002s it s as if I ve got a new car almost. The grip in dry and wet is excellent, less roll in corners, no more loss of traction in the wet even under full acceleration feom a standing start. They just stick. I can enter roundabouts slightly faster than normal with complete confidence. Taking corners at speed is now exciting. Where I live is a 9km winding stretch of road from the nearest suburb out in the hills. I always enjoy the drive when there s no other cars. Doing no less than 90kph the whole way when normally you d average 65/70. These tyres are amazing. I get to drive many different types of vehicles for work all with different tyres (usually cheap eco tyres with brands that could ve been made with a scrabble board). Definitely recommended for someone who enjoys driving and who wants to enjoy the full capabilities of their car on the road.

Best tyres Ive owned
I have a 2000 Ford Laser - 195/55/R15. I got all 4 put on new rims after having the skinny stock tyres. They have lasted for 3years and just over 60K and only just getting to the point that I need to shop for new ones. Only had a wheel alignment when I got them, so it is surprising that they have lasted this long. Always keep tyre pressure checked every 2 weeks. I prefer 36psi over the recommended 32psi. It gives me a sharper ride and I don t feel the lag in the corners like I do with the lower pressure. They are amazing in both wet and dry. Sticky as hell in both conditions that I tend to take corners at a quicker speed with 100% confidence in the tyres, and they have not let me down once with this. They are sports tyres so they are softer and they are not meant to last as long or give you as good economy or be super quiet with road noise, BUT I am very pleased that with my car they have lasted for so long, my hwy economy is 6.7-7.3L/100 with aircon on, and road noise is not out of the ordinary (quiet enough to have a conversation. Having said that it depends a lot on your car construction vs tyres, my car is going to be noisier than my brothers 2008 Honda Accord Euro that is running the same tyres) I have owned Maxxis, yokis & supercats (never ever, ever again supercat) in the past and this is the first sports tyres I ve had on any of my cars and it s well worth the money I spent. These RE002s have been the best tyres I ve owned, the cheapest I ve every bought tyres for ($125ea) and the longest lasting I ve had by a long mile. Highly recommended. especially for a FWD medium car

The Grip Monster
These are the best handling tires I have ever driven on. Roundabouts with hi traffic usage on highway in rain and never a hint of loss of traction, so in the dry they where mind blowing. They are however the noisiest tires I have ever had on a car but not as noisy as mud tires on a 4WD. They have average tire wear at 2 years and about 35000 KM s but not the worst I have had. Would I buy them again? In a heart beat, the peace of mind it not have them slip and slid with the family in the car is priceless. if you want a quiet ride however I would look elsewhere.

Very noisy on coarse chip and wind noise, elevated NVH levels
Researched via this web site, only one comment on noise, Tyre Retailer was Bridgstone Select Zillmere : Manage advised that they are a very quiet tyre. Last tyres were Bridgstone Turanza T01 40 18 225 and achieved 71,000km in silence, so that was my bench mark as advised to retailer. I had concerns with tread pattern and potential noise generation but retailer adamant that they are quiet, certainly not the case. Very disappointed in noise levels of the Potenza R002and will use Michelin PR3 next time and save $240 and get better life. I expect knowlegible advise from retailer on the product they sell. Unhappy customer whom will not use yet another retailer.

Ford XR6,

Good tyres, especially for the price, but they wear too fast for my taste
I had two of these in a 235/45/17 on the front of my 2003 Ford XR6, and I only got about 25,000km out of them, even though I drive like my grandma. That s not a lot of km for me, so I m a bit disappointed. I could ve squeezed out another couple of thousand km, but the mechanic who fixed a flat for me said they were almost unroadworthy. I got nearly 35,000km out of the Continental Contact Sport 3s which were my previous tyres. I had theRE002s aligned when I bought them (obviously), and again for a 2nd time after about 10,000km. I also used the correct pressure, and checked it regularly. Ok, some of you might be wondering why I m complaining about the wear of performance tyres, and that s fair enough. Perhaps I didn t do enough research, but I was of the understanding that they are a mid/high-rung performance tyre -- similar to the Contact Sports -- not an all-out performance, right? Apart from that, they were a very good price: for memory, they were on special for about $190 each. The grip was great in the dry, but I never drive hard enough in the wet to test the wet grip. The road feel was good; they are perhaps a little softer than the Conti Contact Sport 3s. I never noticed any road noise, but I suppose a 2003 Ford Falcon is hardly a smooth and quiet limousine. :-) Overall, they‰Ûªre a good performance tyre for the price, but they‰Ûªre not for me because they wear too fast. The bottom line is that I won‰Ûªt buy them again, unless they‰Ûªre crazy cheap. Oh yeah, I ve just noticed they ve been superseded by the RE003; is that because of the ordinary wear? :-)

Super tyre
I have it on my brand new bmw M5.. great performance tyre in all weather. I used it on track - circuit Silverstone. Great experience. I can compare it re050a, but still, adrenalin is my favorite tyre for last in this year season. It is also quiet , so i like that as well.

Perfect
Amazing I put them on a Mitsubishi evo 6 and they stick like glue amazing through the hills and worth the money I spent wouldn t go to any other tire unless I went to a semi slick. They have to be one of the best tires I have had on my car and I have gone through alot of sets and these hold out the best and also have lasted the longest I have done 17,000 and there is still about %55 tread left.

Awesome tire
Upgraded to 195/50/15 from 14 rims fitted with Yokohama DNA ECOS. I ve done 15k kms with it, 40% of the time on state highways. Great road feedback and cornering. It can be a bit hard on bumps. A 205/50 profile would probably be better or it might be my suspension. The tire tends to slip slightly on wet roads on speeds above 90kph especially when you drive on a section of the road that has a collection of water (long streak, not puddle). I can only compare it to Yokohama on my car though as I ve got Goodyear Eagle F1 D5s as well but they re on an SUV. Last fitness check had about 5mm of tread (14k kms done).
