2002 Mini Cooper
The Best Tyres Ever
I drive a hill climb and descent over 1000 feet every day around at least 30 sharp corners in torrential rain and totally dry seal at different times of the year. I drive fast and furious and not once have the tyres let go. I am super impressed. What ever Radar have done to these tyres its perfect for a Mini Cooper. Better than any other tyre I have tried.

I decided to give these tyres a go through tyresales.com, mainly due to the buy 4 pay for 3 deal and the reviews seemed alright with the exception of the one from a semi-rural driver who stated that he blew 2 tyres in 4 months. I am a suburban driver and I had a set of these tyres fitted on Monday 11th September 2017. This morning Wednesday 13th September 2017, less than 48 hours after fitment, my wife grazed the gutter with this tyre while parking and it split the side-wall and deflated the tyre. My wife has been grazing gutters in this car fitted with Toyo tyres for 4 years without this happening! Unfortunately, tyresales warranty does not cover what they call road hazard damage , which includes hitting the gutter. Extremely disappointed! Do not buy this tyre if on occasion you graze gutters at low speed.

Nissan xtrail
for the money
Put these tires on the xtrail 4 days ago. Did some research, including this site and didn t find anything overly problematic. Understeer apparently was an issue but I ve experienced non of that. Had all terrain tires prior which were no different. The old tires weren t worn out or bald but the age was to the point that they had gone hard and lost grip, especially in wet conditions. One thing with the radars though is that they are a little hummingly noisy on a minority of some road surfaces. No noisier than the old ones though, which were continuously noisy (probably due to being cheaper branded all terrain tires I suppose). Bumps and rail crossings are not felt in the steering wheel anywhere near as was, and allot more comfortable riding tire. I guess this is also due to the fact that the radars are road tires and not all terrain. Only paid $129 per tire and had a wheel alignment at the same time (which is always advisable anyway). Bob Jane T-mart supplied and fitted them and the only issue was that they didn t balance precisely enough initially. This was taken care of today and no problem. Good service and... for the price, a good cheap tire I say. Time will tell though, as with anything like this. The next cheapest option was a Yokahama which came in at $60 more per tire. Probably good if I had the money but don t do allot of long trips and only do 5000 klms per year anyway. So that s my view, and I ll leave it up to you to decide as I did by weighing things up by using review sites like this one. I d recommend them for the price. As a foot note, Bob Jane also give a free 5 tire pressure check, damage check, standard wheel balance, tire rotation and battery check after the first 3 months is due. So value for money already there. Finally, I must apologize for my spelling of tire as opposed to tyre since that spell check wants to keep spelling in American...
