Awesome Aggressive All Terrains
These tyres are awesome. Fantastic combination of on road manners combined with beasty shoulders for slinging mud - and kevlar reinforced side walls for toughness. They turn the Hilux into a track hogging low range tank. Yeaaarrrghhhh!

OK except very poor mileage
Found these tyres OK on my Ford Ranger but very disappointed in the mileage, about 35K. They are rated as a 50% on and off road tyre and come with (in my size, 265/65R17) a 55K warranty. However, set off on a trip with apparently a lot of tread left, I found myself with dangerously thin tyres at the back some 4000 km later. I do tow a medium size van. Now, unlike most people who buy a 50-50 tyre, I really do a lot of travelling on dirt roads, actually sharp rocky roads ! And that seems to be their weakness. I had no interest in claiming my warranty, all they would do for me is give me some of the same but almost as worn out as mine. I need some confidence in my tyres. But maybe a warning to others, is your off road in mud and slush or like mine, on sharp rocky roads? Need the right tyre to survive those rocks.

Do not stand up to the Australian dirt roads
Kited the Prado 150 for outback dirt conditions Simpson Desert etc. First on bitumen in greasy and wet conditions is excellent, but first problem; only did under 3,000 km and had a West Australian rock straight through the bottom tread. With 11k km mainly on outback roads then on bitumen, all was fine except Queensland Cape York did some dirt and tracks all worked fine until a slow leak in one rear and then puncture in other. Both tires had numerous tread splits and after some more dirt the other two followed. In a little over 12 months and 30,000km all 5 tires are shot.

Tyres perform well off-road and on the highway
I am on my second set of Goodyear Wrangler All-terrain Adventure tyres fitted to our 150 series Prado. These tyres are the LT (light truck) ones ie LT245/70/17. I have had them down to 12psi on very soft sand where they give excellent traction and I regularly run them between 38 and 42psi on the highway. Recently we returned from a 10,000km trip through the Kimberley including the Gibb River Road. At times we were on very rough tracks and sometimes just rock and yet we have never had a puncture with these tyres. They are very tough, good wearing and work in a range of situations. The only terrain I haven t tried them in is mud.

Best on the Market.
My first set of AT Adventure s after running AT/SA for a long time without any hassles, and was warned off the Coopers due to massive balance issues people have. The tyres have now done 20,000 on my new Colorado & they are not even quarter worn. They have been rotated at 10,000 as per warranty. Tyres are on track for 80K +. That includes 3 trips to Bourke pig shooting, no punctures or failures. Have now fitted a set of Duratrac s for the winter based on the performance of the Adventure as I will be doing a lot more off road work.

90,000km and STILL GOING STRONG
LOVE THEM! Probably fairly close to 50/50 on/off road and having done 90,000kms so far and still only at half tread I m really happy. A little rougher a ride than the AT/SA Silent Armour I had on previously but highly durable and reliable. Running them on a 2013 D-Max at 38psi front and 39-40psi in the rear. Quite often with a decent weight (800-900kgs) in the back and or a trailer behind (float or camper). Honestly they wear square and run true. Highly recommend them
