Great tyres for sports minded people
Great grip, even better than expected in the wet. Dry grip is outstanding but they are a bit noisy.

Great tyres for spirited driving. They do wear quickly so need to keep up the rotation/swap schedule
I had these on a 2010 911 Porsche. The difference between them and typical tyres (Pirelli p-zero grade) is astounding. They are very much a track orientated tyre. 1) A grade stick to the road performance in the dry WHEN UP TO TEMPS. 2) On a Porsche you really need to swap them from left to right at no more than 500km distances. This involves getting them off the rims to swap as they are directional. 3) No good for standing water and twisting roads. 4) Never go over 31PSI hot or they will start peeling. Best way is to set the fronts to 26 and the rears to 28 cold, then run them hard on twisting roads for 20km until they are hot to touch. Then check pressures arent over 31. They are a very stiff sidewall tire so dont be alarmed at the low cold pressure setting at all. 5) Used as designed (hard driving and track work) they will give 3000km range. Every one of those km s will be great fun. If youre not really interested in trading 2000 per set of tyres for some extreme driving returns, get pirelli p0 or michelin pilot sport cup. They will last a lot longer, but dont provide the same ridiculously good stick to the road feeling.

Stick like flies on the proverbial
Fantastic semi slicks. On any dry roads once warmed up these grip beautifully. Not too expensive given the quality of the compound. Very hard to lose traction. Negatives are they tramrail and sketchy in the wet plus have a short longevity, although this is common amongst all semi slicks. Highly recommended for spirited driving.

For the Budget Conscious Racer
I use these on my Porsche Boxster, I also won the club championship with them. In medium compound they are a tyre you can use for a whole season of motorsport (12 months) as they can stand many heat cycles. I have used them on the road, 4 lap sprints, motorkhanas, gymkhanas, hillclimbs, and 20 minute sessions at Mount Panorama. They are excellent in the wet provided there is no standing water. They must be run at the correct pressures. Run these tyres if long life and value for money is your main concern.

Perfect Club Sport R Spec tyre
I agree with the Boxster driver. I am on my 3rd set of triple 8 s and also use them on hillclimbs, lap dash and at QR. At Mt Cotton Hillclimb these tyres gave me 3 seconds. In a hillclimb there is no warm up, you start with cold tyres and cold brakes. At Noosa hillclimb the tyres work very well although I am only getting to 50 degrees C. At Mt Cotton, a very technical track, I get to 40 degrees. I would like to try the soft compound but they are difficult to get. I am using the medium compound. I have sometimes left the tyres on the car for a few days after a meeting and have given a few young drivers a moment when they tried to follow me through a roundabout. These tyres are only available from selected distributors. Mine were from Tyrepower. I drive a mid engine MGF with race modifications to suspension, brakes and engine. There is no tyre distortion in high load corners but they make some road noise that is not very intrusive. My road tyres are Toyo R1R
