2014 Holden VF Commodre
Happy Purchase
Some three years ago I was in need of replacing my Bridgestone RE92 tyres that were a little over half way through worn and was not happy with their wet handling and braking performance. After reading reviews on this site I opted for the Michelin Primacy 3ST and must say from day one these tyres have much less road noise, better millage, great control at crossing over tram tracks and generally a much better preforming tyre both in the dry and wet compered to my previous tyres.

2014 Holden Commodore
Happy buy
I read a review on these tyres back in 2017 when I had Bridgestone RE92 on my rear drive Holden VF sedan. The previous reviews persuaded my to give the Michelin Primacy 3 ST a go. After the new purchase the difference was immediately noticeable. The noise reduction was impressive, they move over tram tracks with easy and no lose of grib. Manoverablity and cornering with positive feel when driving was great. Performance in the wet is excellent. I have been very happy to date with reasonable durability to wear. I consider myself as an average drive now in my 50's. So I conclude that these tyres are a great balance between sports tyre with touring quality. They have been great for me and I will definitely be re purchasing Michelin Primacy 3 ST again.

Good tyres
Good grippy tyres for acceleration and braking. Road noise is minimal which is why I chose Michelin as other reviews had mentioned this. I would recommend these tyres to anyone. I think I also got a good deal of buy 3 get one free so can't complain. Wear seems to be good too.

Feeling safe in the wet
Bought this car with some cheap tyres which had no grip in the wet. Got advice about these Michelin tyres and then travelled over 30,000 km on them in wet and dry conditions. Always felt safe. Still have 20,000 or more km on them and no change in how they feel on the road. Highly recommend these tyres.

Update after 2 years use, best tyre Ive ever used
Well, i purchased these tyres on the strength and reviews given here. 1. I really don t see how they are quieter, seem exactly the same as my last tyre (Goodyear Excellence) Nope, they are a lot quiter!!! 2. I hope they last, as brand new, they have about half the tread depth of my old tyres when new. 2 years on, they are still like new!!!! Grip level is amazing! In the wet they never move or slip, ever! 3. Where is the tread on the edges of the tyre??? The first area it will wear out and become unroadworthy. This hasn t been an issue at all. Edges have not worn, full treat across whole tyre. Well, i will reserve further judgement until i have put 10,000k s on them, but so far, driving out of the tyre dealership, i have no idea what all the high praise is about. I just HOPE they last more then $80,000k s, as a cheaper option would have been better value. These look as bald on the outer edges as the tyres i took off almost. EDIT: My claims have been so misfounded These have been without doubt, the BEST tyre i have put on my vehicle Amazing grip in all conditions Insane grip in the wet! No Road Noise Long lasting Comfortable drive Highly recommend

Magnificent tyre
These are a top tyre in every department, with stopping ability that is just amazing, quieter and feel better than the original Bridgestones. Look good also. Tip for longer life- run tyre pressures at 39 PSI to prevent rounded shoulders wearing out faster than the rest of the tyres. Will buy again.

Holden Caprice
Love them
I m a limo driver, and drive a Holden Caprice. I have been using cheap (and probably low quality) tyres for quite a while, but have recently switched to these Michelins. I know it probably doesn t mean much to compare the Michelins to the cheapies, but for what it s worth, I definitely notice quite a reduction in noise and improvement in wet weather grip. (I never really push the car hard enough to test dry grip). There is also a small improvement in comfort. The Caprice is already a smooth and quiet car, but the 3ST have taken it to the next level - I am very happy with these tyres and will be staying with them. Regarding wear, this also seems very good - the rears have done 45000km and the depth of the two outer main grooves measures 5mm, so I think I ll get 70 - 80,000km, which I would be very impressed with. I have only just put the 3STs on the front. (and this is why I have waited until now to do the review, with all four wheels now shod with the 3STs). Big thumbs up and I wish I had discovered these tyres a long time ago.

Pay a little bit more and get a whole lot more
These new Michelin Primacy 3ST were only a fraction more than the tyres that I intended to purchase but I am so glad that I shelled out the few extra bucks. The care felt totally different, more stable and the steering more direct as if the power steering had been turned on. The ride is firm but comfortable and they feel just the same in the wet as the dry which is remarkable. They have only done 20,000 km and look like new and the braking is much improved. You d be mad not to grab a set of these for your machine

Fan-Freaking-Tastic
More confident and feeling safer: VW Golf MK6_205/ 55R-16 A: Steering response is much faster and sharper but just a little bit heavier!; B: Breaking distance is shorter and lots of grip; C: Fantastic handling; D: Its softer like driving on a pillow but its the tyre character/Luxuriousness cause of softer sidewall:E: Not tested in wet condition yet; Big improvement on every single angle for sure and well worth spent every single cent.

A huge Difference
I recently required new tyres on my Skoda Octavia wagon I did a lot of research and I spoke to many people before I decided on The Primacy 3 ST I had them fitted 5000 kms ago Never owned a more silent tyre, the car, (even though I love it) was more of a pleasure to drive. An absolute delight on the road and I have been a bit naughty and pushed above the limits. Simply incredible tyres I am predominantly on country roads, and some Victorian roads are very ordinary and I have been driving for over 40 years I know it s only early but the joy so far has been amazing and they were only $28 each less than what came with the car I am not associated with any tyre company, I make furniture for a living but I do appreciate it when my clients recommend my work, hence my desire to praise these tyres Give them a go, you won t be disappointed but shop wisely, one seller was $178 each, I got them at a local tyre store for $148 each fitted and balanced

Brilliant Quiet Tyre
My focus was to find a quiet running tyre with good grip. The guys at JAX recommended this tyre, and since fitting, have found it to be quiet with low road noise, and very good grip, even in the wet. The car feels more secure, and has positive road handling, which was severely missing in the tyres fitted by the Mazda dealer when we bought the car second hand.

Very happy with these tyres
I got these to replace a brand X (which had previously been fitted by a garage when my previous tyres were needing to be replaced). After a *lot* of shopping around, I found the best price at Costco Ringwood, when they had a special on this brand. I ve been really happy with the handling, road holding and smooth ride offered by these tyres. They are quiet on the road well and at this stage, I can t fault them. I d happily use them again in the future when this set wear out.

Excellent Tyre
These are the best non sport tyres i have ever used , grip like the soft sticky tyres i used to run when i was young but wear really well , i just replaced the front tyres on a front wheel drive i30 wagon after 75,000kms (no rotation , on the front the whole time) which i believe is very good , highly recommended.

Amazing Tyres
It is hard to believe that tyres can make such a difference. My car is a Mercedes E350 so it already rides very well; these tyres take it to another level of comfort and silence. I thought I would be the only one to notice as the driver but my wife as the passenger also found them remarkably quiet and comfortable. If you want sheer luxury then buy these.
