Savero caravan tyres
Tyres not that durable. Shows signs of splitting. Only buying because they are the original fitment. These tyres are fitted to a caravan. Judging by their performance would not fit to my car. They have not been near gravel or rough roads. Only bitumen. Although there are no issues when towing. Happy with their towing

Extremely good for offroading

Not worth going for a cheaper tyre - stick to the better known brands
I have had 5 of these tyres over about 8 years. Two of them wore out which is fine but two others developed soft bubbles and split when I least needed them to - in outback Queensland. I had to drive 800km out of my way to get them replaced. I still have one as a spare but will only buy Bridgestone or another better known brand from now on.

2009 Mazda BT50 4x4
Great value All Terrain Tyres
These tyres have been a real surprise packet. I ve used various brands of all terrain tyres on our Mazda BT 50 (2009) which has just clocked over 220,000 ks. Each of them have had their pros and cons but one thing in common has been the expense - they ve all been, in my view, too expensive for what they deliver. For the last set I decided, after much reading, to try a cheaper brand, in this case the GT Radial Savero A/T Plus. The set of 4 cost me under $800 fitted, balanced and with a wheel alignment and we ve now done 35,000 ks without a problem. The size was 245/75R16. Our latest trip took us west to Innamincka, south via the Strzelecki Track, into Cameron Corner and back, south to Arkaroola, Wilpena Pound and on to Port Augusta before returning to Queensland through central NSW. There was lots of rough dirt roads, heaps of gravel and, around Arkaroola and Innamincka, plenty of hard offroad work (including the very rough track to Paralana Hot Springs). All up we travelled 8,600 kilometres, towing our camper trailer for most of it, without a problem with the tyres. By the look of the tread remaining I expect that we ll get another 40,000 out of them. They are quiet on the highway, grip well in the wet, provide tons of grip offroad, have stood up well to rough gravel and are good in sand. On top of that they didn t break the bank to buy a set! Pretty much all I can ask from a set of tyres and I ll be buying them when I next need a set.
