HIFLY HF805 Tyres beware
The Hifly tyres were put on for a roadworthy and appeared to be a decent tyre at the start in pretty much all parameters, stopping, wet weather, and a little towing etc, however there is always a but, and it's a deal breaker! The tyres would go out of round and pick up punctures like no tyre i have had previously. I am getting rid of these tyres with heaps of tread left due to being out of round. My spare tyre is absolutely atrocious, and jacking the car up the other day the tyres are just plain shocking. These problems occurred at about 15-20K and I have been dealing with it the best i can ever since to about 40K. Fighting a steering wheel all the time is frustration personified and I can't wait to get the new tyres. In closing if your after some tyres in the short term like 10-20K these may do you, but don't think they will last...at least not in my experience.

Hifly Tyres
I have Hifly tyres on my VW Caddy which is used for work on a daily basis. I can't believe how long they have lasted. I strongly recommend these tyres.

INSIDE TYRE DAMAGE
The tyres seemed to be durable until I have experienced the damage from the inside of the wheel, which has been noticed after I have took my car to the dealer for inspection and diagnosis based on the noise from the wheels. Only to find that both front tyres were damaged and 3 layers of the tyre were exposed and also in some areas of the outside layer on the inside of the wheels were having goosebumps that were making a vehicle to be bumpy when driving at the speed of +_80 Km/h. I wish the tyres could be more strengthened in the inner part side of the tyre, on the outside (not inside the tyre)
The impact of the tyres based on performance and one’s own safety is that of preventing you from driving more than 70 Km/h as the car will be pumping and making an irritating noise

Junk
I got to brand new ones of these put on my car and 30,000km later they are totally stuffed. The belts are broken is both tyres. I travel on average of a 150ks a day to and from work and luckily today I checked then because there was some weird road noise and vibration and it was almost warn through on a bubble in the tyre.

Good for regular/somewhat harsh driving
After driving a few thousand k s on the 205/40/17 s , I haven t found any issues with them, compared to the cheapies I bought it with, these tyres have good grip in dry and wet, it is bumpy, but that is expected with the small side wall and slightly lowered suspension. I will probably end up buying them again once they wear out if they hold up over time, or will put on a new car if I get one

Skoda Yeti DSG 103 TDI
Unexpected pleasantly surprised
I had a set on waning 225/50 r17s on my Skoda Yeti and I struck a fallen rock with the left front tyre destroying it - had to be towed back to a Tyrepower dealership and the only tires to match were the HiFly's so I had no choice really if I wanted to get back into the road quick and get to work so I took the punt with no knowledge of the brand. After I took the mandatory over inflation of the tyre fitter from 45psi down to 29, these tyres are less noisy than the old pirelli's and the Hancooks I had and I think they handle better in my opinion. Great value as these sized tyres tend not to be cheap but at 130.00 fitted I think I have had a win :)

2010 Suzuki Swift Sport
Hifly HF805 195-50-r16 Amazing tyre
I bought my second hand Suzuki Swift Sport with these tyres (Hifly HF805). I would never have bought these tyres on my own accord because I always believe that Japanese and European brands are best. As such, I have driven on Bridgestone Potenza RE001, Yokohama Advan A043, Goodyear Eagle GSD3 and RS3 just to mention a few, as well as numerous semi slicks like Toyo R888 and RA1.Initially, I was very disappointed that I now had to live with 'made in China' tyres. Then I started driving the Suzuki Swift daily. The steering accuracy was the best I have ever experienced in a car. The Hifly tyres are so responsive and stiff in the sidewall that I can pick a line through any corner and place the car there effortlessly. Makes driving through twisty roads a breeze and joy. The dry grip from these tyres are very good and more than adequate for any form of daily commuting. They are also very progressive. The critical test was when it started raining. The Hiflys performed very well indeed, They just grip the road like any quality Japanese tyre. Lets just say, I was very surprised. All in all, a very good tyre for daily duties.

These tyres are awesome!
Who said you can't have great tyres at a great price? Well, I have always looked far and wide for the best deals on tyres (as we now have three cars in the family). I used to be a 'Yokohama' fan for many years because of their reliability, safety, durability and of course 'the name' and used to spend around $1,000 for a set of tyres (235/45R17) on only one vehicle, not incl wheel alignment. These 'Hifly HF805' tyres have been branded as a high performance tyre, that perform excellent in both wet and dry conditions, but not only that, they are REALLY cheap!! How cheap, well for $420 I just picked up a whole set (235/45R17) for the Magna here in Adelaide, (not incl wheel alignment). These tyres not only look good, yes they do, they are extremely quiet and responsive compared to other brands that I have tried/driven with over the past 32 years. Hey I admit, I was a little hesitant when I bought my first two (only) for the front of the Alfa last week, but they have already exceeded my expectations especially in the wet, wow, they really push that water out. So in a nut shell and don't take my word for it, try them and see the results for yourself. Happy driving (and saving), cheers!!

Ford Falcon G6E
Dangerous - don't buy
When I purchased my used 2013 Falcon from a Ford dealer, it had 3 Firestone tyres and one Hifly tyre fitted. All were in good condition, the Hifly was new. The size was 245/35 R19. One year and 25,000 km's later, I noticed an issue with the inside edge of the Hifly. The Firestones have worn evenly across the tread. The Hifly has started to break up over a width of about 30mm, right around the inside edge of the tyre. Chunks of rubber have broken off exposing the steel belt in some sections, while others have bubbled and distorted. This tyre was about to blow. This was not due to wear down to the steel belt. Where the chunks have flown off, the rubber is about 7mm thick. I did not know how dangerous it had become until actually getting down and looking under the car. You would expect this sought of issue with a retread, not a new tyre.

2008 Ford XR6 Ute
On my 3rd set, Amazing value for money
I felt compelled to write a review as I was genuinely surprised to read a couple of really bad review for these tyres. I'm on my 3rd set of 245/40/18 on my BF Falcon Ute and could not be happier. I replaced the original Dunlop's with these and was very surprised at the level of grip in both the wet and dry. I am getting a good 55,000 to 60,000km per set with a combination of Highway and inner city use. These tyres have a good load rating too my Ute is always loaded with tools and or towing toys on the weekend. Now they are not perfect admittedly, they do get a little noisy as they reach end of life but over all i cant complain about the value for money these tyre represents. Ultimately doing the right things like checking tyre pressure and balance along with periodic wheel alignment and rotating should see you get a similar result.

Mercedes CLK 320
Worst tyres I ever bought!
Only got 14500 km ( being generous) out of both front tyres started falling apart and got both flat within a week of each other due to severe deterioration ( rubber falling apart ) not sure how they are being legaly sold my old man thinks they were rethreaded and sold as new, i bought them from tyrepower, would not expect them selling rubbish like that so don't know what's up with this, I have back tyres still going after 4 years different brand these lasted less then 2 years also one tyrepower was selling them for 175 the one i bought them from sold them for 125 same tyre same company different location pretty odd in its self?( actual tyre Hifly HF805 245/40ZR18 90WXL ).Very noisy also changed the whole driving experience of my car went from silent smooth previous tyres to these noisy and almost clunky i guess thats the brittle hard rubber, felt like i was driving some cheap banger around then a premium vehicle.

Audi A3 FSi
Great tire for such a low price...
A lot of people just enjoy dissing good things for no apparent reason, this tire is basically under priced for its quality, I basically grips very well and you could come close to comparing it with these expensive brands. It basically does well on both wet and dry surfaces. I don't know which range of HiFly tires the other people have been using but with the 225/45/17 I tried its excellent and you could even go racing with it. Great for people driving fast cars that are on a low budget. I will buy another set after this and another after that, this company basically shows everyone that you don't have to dig too deep into your pocket to have a good set of safe tires. Big up HiFly and keep it low.

1999 Toyota Camry
Terrible wear
Lost a tyre away from home and had to replace both fronts- all the local shop had in 235/45ZR17 was this garbage. Fair enough, $99 each, not too bad. 18 months and 25,000km later, no tread left. Must be a very soft compound to get the speed rating- they gripped OK when new. And I'm no hoonatik, I drive a cardigan! Twice the price will get you a tyre that is twice as good and last three times as long- don't cheap out on this crap. Thanks heaps, Tyrepower! Get the POWER to sell garbage to your customers!

Great Tyres for the Average Driver
Wet grip: tested them on a skid-pan and the grip was excellent in my WRX my99.Dry grip: more than enough for regular driving on the roads.Smooth ride on the roads, road-noise is no different than other expensive brands I've used.5,000km on tyres and no sign of wear at this stage. I'll be happy if I get over 25,000km for the price I paid.
