Great tyres
My car hasn’t got one of the greatest turning circles or for on road noise, but these tyres have seen about 40% of their time off the bitumen and are almost flawless. On road, these tyres are brilliant- towing, they’ve never let me down!

Great Tyres
The goodyear wrangler MT/R tyre is great, I spend a lot of time in the bush and dont have to worry about getting a puncture as they are so strong.
They do have a little bit of road noise but they handle on the road very well, wet or dry.

Best off-road tyres
I had a set of these Goodyear Mtr kevlars in 265/70/17 fitted to my 09 Hilux and towed a 16 foot aluminium boat to Cape York Queensland and back. On the way up we had 3 solid days of rain during the highway run. Even though fully loaded with extra fuel , camping gear and 3 adults , not once did these tyres feel skiddish or show any hint of losing grip on the black top. off-road I literally skull dragged the boat through 3 kilometres of soft fine sand and these tyres refused to bog down! they handled everything with ease mud , extremely rough rocky roads and deep sand. They are a very quiet mud terrain tyre and I sold them when I traded the vehicle after our trip, the buyer commented they look new! I should never have sold them and here I am today buying a new set for our new Prado, the only negative is the price, expensive but shop around as they vary considerably! Highly recommended from someone who s put them to the harshest of tests!

Good Allround Tyre, but dosent live up to the hype
I ve been running the MT/R kevlar for the last year and a half. Overall performance has been good - they grip well in most conditions I ve put them through and have not let me down with a single puncture so far. If i was buying on tyre performance alone I would get these again in a heart beat. But the reality is for me, they cost too much, use to much fuel and haven t lasted as long as I would have hoped for. On those points I wont be buying them again.

Good all around tyre, Excellent in mud, wet pavement and sand
I have had these in mud to the axle and they keep chewing. I have had these also on the wet pavement. i can t complain either, they are far superior to the bf goodrich t/a. There is no wander when you hit a wet spot. With the size of the lugs you would expect a lot of road noise. VERY shocked about how quiet these are. Others talk about fuel consumption, my toyota hilux, (diesel engine) actually seems to get better milage with these than it did with the 31x10.5 the 32 inch goodyears are a good buy, a good tyre and a good choice. I will get them again,

treat them badly, they love it
I rip skids and smash hard into mud trails, no faults at all. Look tough as hell and arent bad on road either. As far as mud tyres go i rate these highly on road and off. Not even as loud on road conpared to bfgs and maxxis for m/t too.

Goodyear Wrangler MTR With Kevlar Update
Well done around 56,000km and about 60% worn. The tyres still had a ton of grip on double black diamond tracks in the dry, but traction on wet tracks was starting to give trouble. All other roads traction wet or dry was still excellent. My son has these same tyres on his GQ Patrol (33 ) and gets around 8,000 km more than my Prado. Only difference is I do a number of very high km trips (7-9000) with anywhere from 500 to 1000km over extremely rough outback tracks and roads and I think this hastens the wear. Still the best all round tyre we have used.
