Good
Very good tyre for my requirements. Good value for money. Would buy these again. Have not run them in/on rough rocks for long enough to form an opinion on them for this application. One of the better tyres i have used on Cruisers in the last 32 years.

Bad
A promising tyre spoiled by it s high wear rate. While having good on and off road grip I would expect a much higher milage from these tyres. Goodyear have now lost me as an on-going customer.

Excellent
This is the best tyre we ever got. I live in a romote Community where we travel on dirt road every day and the road it s bad up this way and I have never gotta a flat tyre ever with the Good Year MTR. and it s good for the slippy roads.

Never Again
So much for the side wall technology, I didnt even get a chance to take the new tyres off road. Car only driven on bitumen, developed a minute hole on top of side wall which cannot be repaired. The tyres are only 6 months old and 5000kms. Goodyear said this wasnt a manufacturing issue without even looking at tyre and handballed it back to Kmart Tyre and Auto which didnt really help though they only sell the tyre so what can I expect from them. If it wasnt a manufacturing issue I have absolutely no faith in taking these tyres anywhere near a dirt road, let alone what they are built for, being off-road. Wish I had taken others advice now with people in the know and bought BF Goodrich. Hopefully others will take this on board if considering these tyres. DONT BUY THEM!!!

Wearing Badly
I have a set of USA 265 75 ATR and have put 10k on my cruiser and they have worn extremely bad. Will not be putting these back on. I have rotated them once and just about to do it again, but a lot of my mates have cheaper sets and are getting far better wear.

Fantastic..!!!
245/65R17 had these as OEM on my 2006 Grand Cherokee. Made a mistake going away from them first time i had to change but lived with the expense of getting them back on again very soon after. Never had any trouble with them, outback trips, 15km per year around town and easily 65km life out of them. Liked them so much i bought a second used set for spares for going bush. I dont see them rated as much as 50/50% more 70/30% (on/off-road) and the only thing i would have asked for would have been to make an LT set for harder off-road use. I know the tire places cringe when they see two of mine are 10yrs old but if you look after them properly these are simply fantastic tires...shame they are now discontinued but i will buy used ones if i find good ones

Tread 40% worn away in 17,000kms
Tyres were fitted to my vehicle 17000kms ago, I told the tyre sales guy I was going on an outback trip as I do every year and he suggested the Wrangles, these tyres will eat the outback, me thinks it was the other way around...:( The out back trip only consisted of 5000kms of the traveling. I took the vehicle back to them yesterday to show them the wear, he measured the tread depth, new he said is 10mm, you have 6mm left, dont know what you are complaining about!!? So 40% in 17000kms means I will be lucky to get 42500kms from the tyres. The previous brand of tyres (Bridgestone Dueler) gave me 100,000kms with no worries. Its an expensive way to find out you have been sold rubbish tyres that are not up to the job.

Good
Road noise is minimal and highway driving is superb. Even beach driving is OK on the odd occasion I have done this. I ll keep using these tyres.

overall extremely happy with these tyres which came standard on my car. despite cost to replace them and the damage caused by the sharp stones, the fact that i ve achieved 70,000 k s with them equates to excellent value for money. i ll be fitting a new set in the next few weeks!

Less than average
Had the Wrangler AT s for 6 months. Never been off road! Developed a side wall puncture that is terminal. So what is the kevlar sidewall reinforcing for anyway? Also the shoulders will wear lighting fast if the alignment is even a little out. These tyres are no better than the $150 roadies I had before. I will be looking at a brand that offers 80K warranty next time.
