Description
The LTZ is a hybrid between a sports truck tyre and an all-terrain tyre. With extra high load ratings, each steel belt strand has 33% more steel, increasing the load carrying capacity over standard tyres in the equivalent size.

I find the Cooper Zeon LTZ tyres suit my V6 Amarok and where I drive perfectly. Excellent on the highway as well great on dirt roads. These tyres have only done aprox. 6000 kl so far with out any signs of wear and they also have a 60,000 kl warranty. ...

Best Tyres I've ever had.
Soft Beach... bitumen... mud...Gravel, lime stone and salt not a thing wrong with these tyres...and Im sure I will get over 80,000km off them.
I still have to swallow when I pay for them though not cheap.... but hey dollar per Km they win hands down ...

Cooper Zeon LTZ 20"
Tyres are perfect for on road and cornering. No noticeable noise and can still handle the off road stuff with ease. I have a 50,000 km warranty and they will easily do that. A bit more expensive but last 3 to 4 times longer.

Fantastic tyres
I have had a set on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler and have travelled 70 thousand kms on dirt , rock, sand and black top and have had no problems to date and still have just under half tread left . Very good tyre in my opinion .

I maintain good pressures and use regular 10k rotation. Side walls crack leaking air then heat from sidewall causes the tyre to explode. Having owned 4WDs for 15years and always used cooper tyres I was shocked. I understand care for tyres so trust me when I say you should seriously consider another tyre type, this particular model of cooper tyre is dangerous.

G‰Ûªday In October 2009 we bought our first set of Cooper ATRs, 3,500Ks later side walls were cracking near the bead area, Cooper after much pushing replaced them, 1,500Ks latter same problem, again after much pushing and discussion they replaced them March 2009 with Zeon LTZs manufacture date 2008, after 4,500Ks these also cracked the side wall but further out closer to the tread, again after a month off pushing and discussion these were replaced June 2010 with another set of LT Zeon LTZs these lasted 15,000Kms January 2011and started the same problem of Cracking near the bead area, again Cooper were contacted with a reply that it was cosmetic only and NO replacement or concern warranted, so ok we have had them inspected by NSW RTA Blue slip station ,which he showed concern, and have photographed them at that time and are continuing to photograph there deteriation, and if and when they fail a law suit will be lodged against Cooper Tyres (National Tyre Wholesalers Aust) The sidewall cracking is get worse and will continue to get worse. I am not a winging Traveller with no idea, firstly I am a Mechanic since the early 70s and have owned a Tyre and Mechanical Business, and an Aircraft Engineer since the Mid 80s, so I do have some Idea of what a person should expect from $1500s worth of tyres. Buy Cooper tyres? NEVER again. Cheers Wayne

Have now been 35,000 kms on the tyres, including the Birdsville Track and rough dirt roads in the Gulf country in the Borroloola, Lorella Springs and Roper River regions. Last month drove from Adelaide to Perth, returning along the south coast and some rough, rocky tracks and roads east of Esperance, in particular the track from the Eyre Highway into the Bilbunya Dunes. This narrow, rough track contained deep ruts, tree roots, and limestone rocks and of course sand. Having previously suffered sidewall cuts to two Zeon tyres on an earlier trip, the fact that no tyre on this WA trip suffered any damage was nothing short of amazing. We were also towing a camper trailer fitted with Cooper S/T MAXX tyres which also completed the journey with no cuts or abrasions. Any doubts I had about these 255/55X19 tyres have gone and will be getting another set in the near future.
