About Continental MaxContact™ MC6 Tyres

Continental MaxContact MC6® provides max benefits for your car including safety, confidence and value. Dedicated areas on the MaxContact MC6® tread design deliver high levels of performance from the tyre. These features cover all four directional forces that are applied to the tyre tread. The stabiliser bars enhance handling and cornering grip whilst the asymmetric rib geometry maximises cornering response.

The tread features Chevron Grip Elements that allow even pressure distribution during cornering resulting in enhanced grip, better wet braking and handling. To achieve faster dry braking and efficient traction for acceleration, the longitudinal ribs are engineered to avoid block distortion by transferring circumferential forces efficiently to the road.

Happy User On The MaxContact MC6
At all speeds, there was a noticeable reduction in tire noise at first. Smooth on all road surfaces; low-frequency noise on the rough surface on the 18" stock wheel with tire size 235/55. The rubber does the job of suppressing the vibration on imperfect road surfaces. The steering wheel feels wonderful, and the ride is more comfortable, maybe because of the soft sidewall compared to the S1 Evo3 SUV that I took off, but Hankook is slightly better on cornering. Shorter the breaking distances in both dry and wet circumstances. While driving, I can feel the reduced rolling resistance, and the mileage has somewhat increased from 5.9 L/100 kilometers reduced to 5.5 L/100 kilometers on the highway with a speed of 90-100 kilometers, about 1800-2000 RPM. Overall, I am happy with it.

Fantastic tyres
I have had the tyres on the vehicle for just over10,000kms. Many brands work well in the dry, but not the wet. The Continentals provide excellent wet weather braking and cornering as well, as in the dry. The grip is very predictable with wet road cornering. I was pleasantly surprised with the wear rate which is about 1mm down from new. But I drive sensibly and ensure that the tyre pressure is maintained at the level recommended by Continental. (38psi) The driving has been a mixture of metro and country. The tyres are a great investment in safety.

Great tyres
Got these tyres put on and have surprised by the grip over the past few months, tyres are quiet too. Good deal for 150 each.

Car changing tyres
These tyres transformed our little Mazda from a shopping cart to a serious contender. Our OEM tyres were noisy, hard and lacked grip. These were the opposite, the difference was unbelievable, I just wish the sizes were more readily available. For a great fault free tyre you won't find better
