Wow. What a tyre
Purchased these to replace a set of Michelin XM2 on the front of my 06 Hyundai Getz & WOW I was very impressed by how much quieter they are than the Michelin XM2's.Not only are they quieter (especially at highway speeds) , the CC5's also have better steering feel, don't feel as spongy when cornering and the ride isn't as bumpy/rough either (I run all of my tyres @ 34psi), I haven't driven wit them in the rain yet but I'm confident that they'll do well.My only gripe is that the treadwear rating is only 360 to the Michelins 420.I bought these because I wanted to see if there was a better tyre to replace the XM2's from another well known brand, so far, the gamble seems to have paid off.I don't really care that these Conti's are MADE IN CHINA, QC is still done by the Germans.

Quiet tyre
I recently purchased a 2013 Skoda Octavia 90TSI, and noticed a problem when driving the car at speeds between 80 to 100 km/h on coursed chipped country roads. The problem was intrusive tyre & road noise that was entering the cabin. The tyres on my car were 205/60/15 Bridgestone Turanza ER300 tyres. I decided to search the internet for information on tyres, and after contacting various tyre dealers for their opinions, I ended up replacing the Bridgestone tyres for a set of Continental ComfortContact5 tyres. These Continental tyres were definitely quieter, and worth the money, but there was still some tyre/road noise entering the cabin – but less than before. Regarding the handling & braking aspect of the car, the conti comfort tyres were not as good as the bridgestones, ie; the steering is not as responsive, and the conti's are not as stable on the road at highway speeds. It is a trade-off I accepted for a quieter cabin.

Very disappointed, all the driving enjoyment of re-treads.
I purchased these for a small suv as a set of 4 with the express purpose to improve grip in both wet and dry conditions. As they were replacing 6 year old generic Australian made tyres i presumed a dynamic gain was a assured, how deflating to get exactly what you're after yet left feeling flat.The tyres perform as expected in heavy braking in both wet and dry conditions but scrub at a hint of a corner and track poorly on the straight ahead.

2010 Toyota Camry Altise
Best Tyres Ever!
Started with Bridgestone's on my camry, they were slippery, noisy and wore down way too fast. Originally I wanted Kumo's however the store ran out of them and Continental was a second option. Have had the Continental's for 3 months now and think they are the best! My car handles better and grips to the road, I am consuming less petrol and the quality is awesome!

Good quality, comfortable ride
I purchased these upon a high recommendation from a consumer association that I am a member of. The tyres were rated highly in lab tests.I have purchased this model of tyres several times for several different vehicles and have not been disappointed.I am very happy with the new set on my second hand Corolla. Very comfortable and very quiet tyres. They also hold the air pressure very well.Overall extremely happy again with these tyres.

Good price with middle performance
The continental conti comfort contact 5 is definitely good for daily using, the price is not that high compared to those performance tyres like Michelin pilot sport, and the performance is not that good as those perfomance tyres too. The life for these tyres is limited, you may change it around 15000KM depends where you live and the conditon of the road. But it still a budget tyre.

2 months ago i been to Melbourne with family. i was in north Melbourne thought lets get check the tyres. went to Continental tyres North melbourne Abbotsford St. they charged full amount and give two 2nd hand retreated tyres. i told them i need new continental new tyres but these greedy people forced me to buy cheap quality. never had any problem with conti comfort tyres. since they put different tyre feels like car dragging me out. even i didnt like to drive this car any more. bad experience in Melbourne. stay away from this shop

VW Golf 5
Nothing but praise.
I bought my tyres second hand and used from a guy who hated these tyres. He had nothing good to say about these tyres. I fitted these to my VW Golf as a very cheap option as I was tight strapped for cash. May I say..... I didnt expect much but boy was I in for a surprise. The tyres performed perfectly. I was amazed with the grip of these tyres. I went as far as to test them at high speed around corners and they gripped as good as the Yokohama 352 with the A pattern tread. Wear has been excellent and killing these tyres are next to impossible. Admittedly I did get a nail in one but that was an easy fix for me at home. I am due to buy new tyres as Im down to the wear replacement mark. I am curious to see what brand new ones will handle like. I can only imagine they are going to keep impressing me. I have nothing but praise for this tyre and brand and keep in mind I have been a Yokohama and Michelin fan for years and previously wouldnt stray from these brands. Im glad I was tight strapped for cash at the time as it introduced me to a wonderful alternative in tyres.

2003 Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-Benz E500
You get what you pay for.
I have 47 years driving experience and have owned about 30 different cars and trucks. I have driven all conditions, including snow and ice, in more than one country. These tires were Original Equipment on my 2003 Mercedes-Benz E500 This is the third set of Continental tyres I have driven on, in two different manufacturer vehicles. I find they have very reasonable lifespan, they handle well on unsealed roads, icy paved roads and in a modest amount of snow, which requires light touch on the accelerator pedal and an awareness of torque-induced and centrifugal force directional changes, etc. The tires are quiet. The tires can easily handle aggressive driving style on curves holding well within one's own traffic lane. Though I check my tyre pressures once a month, I have found these tyres hold air better than any other tyre brand I have owned. I have experienced no purported sidewall cracking and no bubbles, which are most often caused by incorrect installation of a tyre which tears the tyre bead allowing air to leak between the lamination, which I experienced in 1981 with a set of Pirelli tyres. There are a lot of disparaging reviews and remarks about Continental Tyres. Consider the source and their driving style. Do burnouts and doughnuts, don't regularly check your tyre pressures, have them installed by someone unqualified to hammer a nail, and what would you expect.

2003 Ford BA Falcon
Quick Wearing and poorly constructed
I Brought a pair of these CC5 on my BA Falcon a while back. I was initially impressed with there grip, until I realized i had a bubble on the sidewall of my tyre (the tyre was on my car for less than 3000km). I have never hit something with these tyres at all. However, Continental and JAX beg to differ and insisted that I did hit something. This shouldn't happen on a expensive tyre!I have driven on cheap hard compound Sava, to top of the line Michelin and have not ones experience any impact fracture on any other brand of tyres I have owned, beside these Continental CC5.After some arguing with JAX, they replaced the impact fracture tyre with another CC5 at a wholesale cost (Really annoying to begin with, since I wasn't working at the time and was dealing with some health problems). However, the thing that really annoys me the most is that by the time I've done 25,000km on these CC5, they need to be replaced! Yes you heard right, 25,000km!I was so annoyed at these Contintenal, I went and got some Bridgestone Ecopia EP100 and had much better experience with these make and model of tyres (while surprisingly getting better fuel economy at the same time).If your looking for a tyre to place on your grandparents car who only do a few thousand km, then these are the tyre to get! However, for the majority of us, look elsewhere.

Last only 7 months
Shocked why a very good brand name with good company reputation produces tyre that only lasts 7 months with less than 25000 km distance. I have no problem with the grip during wet and dry road conditions but wear and tear lifespan is short. Acceptable noice produced by the tyre while rolling.

2005 holden berlina 3.6 sedan
54,000 km and still going strong.
Hi, I have had these tyres on my holden zv berlina since October 2012 and I cannot fault these tyres in any way. Most of my driving is on the freeway doing 100km . I have traveled over 54,000 km on the tyres and they still have plenty of tread left I would expect a least another 10,000 km/h before having to look into buying new set of tyres. They are incredibly quite and offer excellent grip and handling in both wet and dry.I have had the tyres rotated every 10.000 km so as to maintain even wear. Before buying these tyres I looked into getting Michelin ( also a very good tyre) , as I always heard that Michelin was the better tyre, when I asked several tyre retails why Michelin is the better tyre there answer was ( o they just are, not really a answer). When time comes to buy a new set of tyres I will be looking at the continental again. PS in fact I was so impressed with the tyres I purchased a set of second hand ( 90% thread ) continental cc5 for my wife's pulsar,

Holden VX Commodore / Toyota Camry Hybrid
Quiet af...
I'm a musician that drives everywhere. Long/short trips, been on lots of different roads/surfaces.Put a set on my Commodore VX April 2013. And they're still going!! Checked the 'tread marker' and they'll be due soon but they still have plenty of miles left in them.I remember doing research on this tyre and liked their performance in the rain and noise level.The FIRST thing I remember noticing as soon as I drove off was the noise level. I couldn't believe how quiet they were. Sooo damn quiet. I spend a lot of time on freeways and that helps, especially after a loud gig.I've just put a set on my partner's 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid. (Her old tyres were Michelin Primacy LC. Incredible tyre but $$$. Quality costs, I get it.) Will be interesting to see how the Hybrid handles the CC5...PRICE: April 2013 approx. $420 (4 tyres fitted+balanced, wheel alignment)October 2016 was $500 (4 tyres fitted+balanced, wheel alignment)

2013 Hyundai i30 CRDi hatchback.
Tires worn out in 12 months (less than 25,000km
Folks, from brand new they are quiet, great in the wet, brake well and ride very well. Fantastic tire. The only thing is that they wear out faster than any other tire I have ever used. Note - the tires are on a Hyundai i30 diesel, so no it is not a performance car used for drifting, just used for general commuting to and from work. Would I recommend them? Sure, if wear was not a concern. Yes I have maintained good tire pressures and rotated them on a regular basis. But whoa, they wear out fast. Ill be going back to the Hankooks that came with the car from the factory, they lasted over 2 years and were pretty good actually.
