Excellent tyres, but with a big downfall Excellent in every way except in the wet.
The only modifications are wider 18" wheels and DGR coilovers with Centara Vanti HP rubber
The Bad:
It is so poor on the wet that I feel I'm risking my life on it. I cannot count how many times I've hyd ...Excellent in every way except in the wet.

The Bad:
It is so poor on the wet that I feel I'm risking my life on it. I cannot count how many times I've hydroplaned on the highway and slipped traction taking off with my small 4-cylinder.
The Good: Now with the positives. When it's dry, it sticks like glue. Whether taking off or cornering at extremely fast speeds. Extremely confident in the rubber in dry.
Noise is very minimal and not noticeable in the cabin.
Wear is pretty good and I'm pretty happy at ~50,000kms. But they will need to be replaced soon as it's about a millimeter to the tread wear indicator bars on the front wheels (FWD car, could have had more life out of the set if I rotated the tires more often).
Would have easily been my go to tyres if it wasn't for the extremely poor wet performance.Read moreSimilar opinion? Write a review!

Excellent tyres when not wet Tyres are awesome, but converts your car into a coffin in the wet weather.
Have aftermarket rims and suspension setup which made the car amazing to control... Until it gets wet.
If it's often wet where you live, give these a pass.

Death Trap in the wet Were fitted to my son's first car, an 06 Mazda 3 with 160ks on it.
The dealer put these on just prior to sale, probably because they are cheap.
They look great, with a deep tread.. not super quiet but ok, cornering is ok and they don't get squirr ...Were fitted to my son's first car, an 06 Mazda 3 with 160ks on it.

They look great, with a deep tread.. not super quiet but ok, cornering is ok and they don't get squirrely when pushed a little.
But as soon as there is any wetness on the road, these things become super dangerous.
On a wet road (not raining), at a safe/slow cornering speed, I found myself failing to make the turn on a roundabout that I know very well. The front tyres lost all grip and skidded on until I was able to correct. I couldn't bloody belive it! I checked the pressures, which were fine, then took the car to a little used road to see if I could repeat the problem.. And yes, I could get them to let go when taking off (in an underpowered sedan!), and letting go in wet turns was too damn easy.
These horrible things are coming off tomorrow, and replacing with something that probably has more silica in them than these slippery cheap horrible death traps.Read moreSimilar opinion? Write a review!

Centara Tyres are great value for money
Great tyres for a well priced product . Handles like a dream
Wore out too fast
These were the worst tyres I've ever purchased for my Mazda since owning it from new, they wore out so fast, hopeless in the wet when taking off, I would not recommend them to anyone and they were $170 each !!

A wheel alignment is recommended to ensure the maximum mileage & performance from your new tyres.
ALIGNMENT FRONT ONLY
Improved wheel alignment where the front wheels are measured and adjusted to align to the "thrust line" of the rear axle - suitable for most older and rear wheel drive vehicles.
Only$6000Add
ALIGNMENT FRONT AND REAR
Comprehensive wheel alignment where the toe of all four corners is measured and adjusted back to the manufacturer's specifications - suitable for most current models, front wheel drive and all wheel drive vehicles.
Only$7000Add
ALIGNMENT FRONT AND REAR 4X4
Comprehensive wheel alignment where the toe of all four corners is measured and adjusted back to the manufacturer's specifications - suitable for most current models, front wheel drive and all wheel drive vehicles.
