no as good as old version
the KO2's must be a softer compound as the didn't last as along as the KO's I had on previously. 60% dirt road, I believe the dirt road chipped all the edges of the tread blocks off. this is the reason I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else. this is my personal opinion I'm sure the will be mixed reviews

Great performance and handling, but rapid wear
I changed from the factory H/T tyres to these and actually felt that they handled better, especially in corners. When new, they were hardly any louder than the H/T tyres, although that changed over time and by the time they were close to worn they were almost as noisy as the BFG KM2 mud tyres that I run on a second set of wheels. They were brilliant for a mix of overland cruising and offroad driving. They always felt very secure on wet, surfaced roads. Unfortunately, after only 40,000 km they were worn right down to the tread wear indicators, but thanks to running fairly high on-road pressures and looking after alignment, rotating them every 5,000 km, etc. they were at least worn completely evenly. Around 6,000 km was on (coarse) gravel, which would have contributed to the wear, but I have now replaced them with Mickey Thompson ATZ P3 tyres in the hope that those will be more durable under similar conditions.

Allterain tyres BF’s
These tyres are slippery in wet but excellent in the dry. A bit noisy if you don’t rotate correctly. They are wearing okay with done 40,000 kms so far.

Tough and fair
So far very little wear evident. I bought 6 and rotate every 10,000 km so that helps. Road noise not an issue as I thought it may be.
This is my first buy of BFG's but I'm confident it won't be my last.
I travel outback a fair bit so maybe 30% dirt and worse.

I’ve bought x3 sets of these BF goodies before and they’ve been the best tyres I’ve ever had
For some ridiculous reason apparently the compound was changed on this batch and now they’re the worst tyre I’ve bought
Wear too fast and wear uneven
Need constant rotations
Very noisy and not bloody happy

BFG KO2s - best all terrain tyre ever?
I am due to replace my BF Goodrich KO2 all terrain tyres on my Toyota Landcuiser Sahara. Without a doubt they have been the best tyres I have had on a four wheel drive vehicle ever and I will not hesitate to buy the same tyres again.

2017 mitsubishi Pajero
BF Goodrich AT KO2
Purchased these 265 70 17 light truck tyres for new Pajero NX on 17 inch rims as off road alternative to the 18 inch low profiles that were factory fitted. Took the vehicle very heavily loaded over around 3000 km rough corrugated gravel and some stony difficult steep terrain, across creeks and in mud and sand. These tyres have excellent off road performance at around 30 - 40psi and remain extremely quiet at highway pressures on the black top. Some rounding of tread block edges and some minor chipping, but better that I saw on Mickey Thomson ATZ and STZ variants. Recommended for offroad use.

B F Goodrich 305/70 R16 KO2s
Fantastic tyre. Use, 70% On road, 30% Off Road. Excellent road holding capability in all types of weather and on all road surfaces. ie Bitumen, gravel, mud, sand, and rock. {no chipping} Traveled all over SA outback including the Simpson. Always monitor tyre pressure and change pressure to suit road conditions. Tyres are rotated every 5000/7000 ks. Never had a puncture. When considering buying these tyres, the Sales Rep suggested I would get 120000 ks plus out of a set and on inspection today, estimates another 10000/14000 before replacement is due. That Rep new his business. Can highly recommend these tyres.
