1997 Toyota RAV 4 CRUISER
NEXEN TYRES on RAV 4 CRUISER
The Nexen CP 521 215/70R16C 6PR tyres are a very durable and robust cargo tyre. There is no "tyre squirm", giving the driver a very good feel for the road when driving at speed on asphalt, although breaking on wet asphalt leaves a little to be desired.
When driving "off road", the highway tread pattern still gives good traction on most surfaces. A worthy tyre for most applications.
I also use Nexen tyres on my 1999 Pajero. The 31x10.5R15 LT NEXEN AT PRO RA8 tyres were on the vehicle when I bought it 3 years ago and I mainly use it for towing my caravan. At that time they had 11mm. of the original 12mm. tread. After 30,000 ks of towing, I still have 6mm. of tread remaining. I estimate a total of about 80,000 ks.(same as CP 521on RAV4) is possible, even though towing.
