About Nankang CX-668 Tourer Tyres

The Nankang CX-668 tyre features four straight grooves to enhance hydroplaning efficiency and maneuverability on wet roads.

Dual double grooves on the shoulders divert and balance forces when driving to prevent uneven wear. Thinner shoulder sipes efficiently reduce noise, while a small block pattern design improves comfort. A computer-simulated pitch pattern also reduces noise generation.

Outstanding tyre for early Holden and VW classics
This is the 4th type of tyre I ve had on my 1954 FJ Holden (15 x 4 rims, non-power-steering), and they are outstanding. Excellent grip and handling under heavy braking, low road noise, and unexpectedly, very easy steering even at low speed. Also they balanced very well, needing 20g of lead at most. These an excellent tyre for your classic car if you drive it hard. I was very sceptical of Chinese tyres- this tyre lives up to the excellent reviews on VW forums.
