Mickeys
If you don't mind the hum of the tyres on the road them these are a great tyre for off road and on.
Slight increase in fuel usage with these tyres on toad but the tyres last much longer than a standard tyre.

Excellent Tyres
I've been running these tyres for many years over all different surfaces. I get them rotated regularly and have only had 1 flat- a 2 inch nail in the centre of the tread. The have exceeded my expectation. Only now are they starting to get a bit slippery on very wet roads.

2015 Jeep wrangler
315/70/17 Mickey Thompson STZ
This is the worst tire I ve ever purchased. Completely impossible to balance and badly out of round. I ve had all 5 of these balanced 12 times in the past 15,000 miles and each time its a headache. Mickey Thompson and 4 wheel parts could care less also. I pretty much have 5 boat anchors on my Jeep.

2013 Toyota Landcruiser Prado 150 series
Great tyres on or off road
These tyres have been great both on and off road, 50.000 on them now and still going strong. I have rotated them every 10000 with only normal wear and NO punctures. Very sad they are discontinued, still got spare never used. I m looking to get new as I want to do big trip up north pulling caravan, that wil be another 10 to 15000.

2008 Mitsubishi NS Pajero
Seriously can I really rely on Mickies
I have been 4x4 driving for the past 45 years and have never experienced this with any other tyre brand. After extensive research I fitted STZs to my NS Pajero 4 years ago the STZs are date stamped 2012 and have traveled 35,000 km. Recently we traveled to Clarence River and as normally traveling on a dirt road in good condition not rutted I air down to 34psi. After traveling approximately 40 km we had a blow out on the rear right as I negotiated a bend in the road , on inspection the tyre had torn across the tread pattern and the steel belt was exposed and hanging out. We though not much of this these things happen and after changing the tyre resumed to travel to Casino. We had been on the asphalt for about 20minutues and the noticed a vibration in the vehicle on closer inspection found the left rear STZ had bulges in the tyre and had started to delaminates. As I was out of spare wheels we proceeded to limp into Casino , unfortunately the tyre blew out across the tread same as the right tyre exposing the steel belt. As it was out of normal business hours we managed to get assistance from a tyre company in Casino and replaced the tyres for us they also said that we would be wasting our time persuing any compensating as the tyres are out of warranty . Up and till this episode the STZs had proven to be a good alrounder, however I don t believe that only traveled 35,000km even though the tyres were 5 years old in total as per stamp on the rear wall of the tyre should they be out of warranty. I have another 4by with BFGoodrich tyres 8 years old and are still going strong. In summary these tyres had been rotated religiously every 5000km as per their recommendations and I can not trust my Micky Thompsons and the STZs do not give me any confidence especially with their after sales service

uneven tread wear
made of a poor quality compound that requires over maintaining by rotatating tires every 3000 miles as directed by mickey thompson ,when buying these your buying a problem, if you do not rotate these tires over 5000 miles they will fail and without proof of rotating mickey thompson is unhonorable and will not warranty. i am throwing these in the trash and going back with problem free michelin tires

2013 Isuzu Dmax

2013 Dmax owner, original desert dulers were bad in the wet, very noisy and the worst handling tyre I have ever owned they lasted 30,000km after constant rotations and alignments it drove like a pig ! after fitting STZ mickey Thompsons the truck has became a gem to drive brilliant handling on/off road, wet/dry still quite with 50,000km on tyres should get another 25,000km at least, I will be buying the same tyre when due again I will buy nothing else can t fault them

Great all terrain tyre
I have had these tyres for about 4 years, down to about 6mm tread, cant wait till they run down, I want to buy some more! Great on the blacktop fairly quiet, done lots of off road including the Canning stock route. No problems at all, no punctures, a few chunks out off the tread blocks but thats to be expected, I have given them a rough time.

Best tyres ever
These tyres are absolutely the beat option. Forget price, i ve found to be far better off paying the extra money and getting tyres that im happy with, last longer, handle better, more mileage, good in the wet, etc etc!! Would truly recommend to anyone who is looking for something new.

Hyundai Terracan
Best 4x4 tyre
Had a set of these (LT version) on our Terracan for the last 7-8 years well over 80,000k s and still got tread left. Been all around S/W Victoria including the Grampians (dirt tracks), and 2 years in Broome up along Cable Beach every week and in some nasty sand to boot. No problems with these at all. No road noise on the highway and very versatile with mud, rock, sand and a bit of snow too. Next set not far away.

Mitsubishi MY02 Triton
Great tyres
Had five of them fitted to a brand new Triton (245/70R16) in 2013 - didn t even bother trialing the rubbish it came with - and am about to sell the car with 86 thousand km on the clock and ~4 mm of tread still to go. Unbelievable. No punctures, uneven wear or anything wrong with them in those three years. New car is ordered and is coming with a set of the same, thanks very much.

Good tyre
I bought these Tyres and fitted to my prado,love the Tyres but can t find anyone here in Caboolture that can do wheel alignments,I ve done around 5k on them,took the prado back to redo the alignment and they made it wear more. Can anyone help? Should I go back and request a refund ?

You want good tyres
i purchased a new Pajero and the first thing that i did was take it to a tyre dealer and put M/Ts STZ on.I did a trip around Aussie pulling a 22 foot caravan,we did the Gibb river road, so a great outback road. All in all we travelled 23000 klm s.We did the Nullabor three times in a year. Not one puncture or problem with the tyres. I sold the tyres second hand after doing 55000 klm s to another Pajero owner and he got another 42000 klm s from them. This time i put the M/T P3 s on and did a trip up through longreach and Charleville to the east coast and back to S A. .No problems at all. What a great tyre they actually do what they say they will do.We did plenty of off roading when we were fossicking and did not have any chipping.Will do it all again with Micky Thompson only. Trouble free.
