Had these fitted to a Holden Astra TS for 7 years
Original Michelins Energy XSE's were superseded by XM1 & XM2's and I found the XSE's and the XM2's so good I never bought anything else.Out of all the cars I've owned, and that's quite a few, I have never stuck to one tyre like this tyre for a single car.Make sure you always rotate your tyres though to get maximum life from a set of 4, especially with FWD cars like the Astra.

Amazing longlivity
Fitted the tyres on Holden Astra TS in 2012 at 75k. I sold the Car with 145k and there was plenty of rubber left. You do the math - Unbelievably great tyre. Everything improved from handeling to economy. They only thing I would fault is the noise on the road. I did plenty of highway driving on he weekends and the little trips to the shops and airpot in Melbourne. I highly recommend the tyre, I believe this is really great value for money. Shop around. Michelin did a great job in my opinion.

Best performance road tyre in the price bracket
I've never used Michelin tyres before as they've normally been too expensive. A recent $70 off for a full set of the 195/60R15 swayed me to try them. I drive a turbocharged 626 that kicks out plenty of torque from the front wheels so many tyres can't handle the load without breaking traction, necessitating the use of semi slick tyres. Well blow me away. These tyres grip better than anything else I've ever used in a non racing tyre, corner aggressively, handle frost/sleet on the road without issue and as a nice bonus are more fuel efficient. All for $470 fitted for all corners. The only negative (and I'm being picky here) is road noise is slightly higher than some other road tyres. Minor issue though. I can't speak highly enough of them.

VERY MUCH SATISFIED
QUIET AND SOFT WITH 36psi, WHAT ELSE DO U WANT. Using it on my Toyota Aurion in 215/60/R16 Not tested yet in wet conditions how ever over all road grip is much better as compared to my previous tyres, Recommend to always change all 4 tyres rather than 2 in pairs.

Cant believe the difference.
Had a set of XM2 fitted to my mitsubishi lancer and immediately felt the difference. Road holding and cornering great. Markedly reduced road noise. Great in the wet - no back slide even better in the dry. Will see how they wear ovet time and check fuel consumption but so far very happy with tyres. Reasonably priced.

Its ok but not Brilliant
I have purchased the tyres in March 2017 and have pushing through them for over 7 months now. The tyre grooves are very wide allowing nails to easily penetrate - I have had to get nails removed twice since March and been stuck having to change to the spare on the side of the road. I find they don t hold air very well, 5 psi loss over 2 months. I have never had this problem on my previous set - Hankook Optimo K415. They drive nicely, just as good as the Optimo although don t think they are strong and durable as the Optimo. The tyres are on a Toyota Avalon 2002 model - they are known for excessive front wheel tyre wear. My previous brand got 60 k without rotation. Time will tell how long they last. They are far superior then the Bridgestone. Jax tyres advertise fuel economy although I haven been getting increased miles since i bought them, but getting less then the Optimo with on average 20 ks less on a full tank.

Excellent tyres. About to put some on the wife's car too.
I've had Michelin XM2's on my VZ Commodore for around 15,000km and nearly a year. My driving is a combination of city, highway, and spirited driving. The grip is great! It rivals the Bridgestone Potenza's that came as OEM fitment on the two VE SV6 comany cars I had a few years ago, despite the VZ's suspension being somewhat old, and nowehere near as good as the VE's, and the XM2's being 40mm less in width! The XM2's are better than the Bridgestone Turanza's that came on the VE Calais company car I had after the SV6's. The XM2's replaced a set of Bridgestone Supercats that were 20mm wider (largest size recommended for the wheels on my VZ), and even still, the XM2's beat them hands down in every way!For wear, the Potenza's didn't come close to the XM2's! I'm not 100% sure about how they compare for noise, because the VE's were all quieter cars than the VZ, so it's hard to compare for anything other than hard cornering squeal: pulling hard around corners, the XM2's squeal enough to let me know that I'm pushing them, but they still have plenty of grip! In the same type of situation, the Potenza's didn't make any noise, but they would also start sliding without warning. I would rather have a slight squeal telling me to back off a bit (ie: the noise is actually a positive in this respect - another win for the XM2's).In the wet the XM2's are great! Certainly better than the Potenza's. Just recently, I got a very very slight slide in the front in the wet (most tyres would slide a lot more in the conditions), but it was very easily controllable, and the feedback was brilliant! The only tyres I've had that have better grip than these are the ones on my motorcycle, but that's a whole different game altogether! With all of that said, I'm going to buy a set for my wife's car because I want her to have a set of tyres that I can trust with her life and our daughter's life!

great tyre so far
bought these to replace bridgestones on my mazda 3, after being told they were worth the extra money. Well that seems true enough. 195/65/15 for $133 each incl balanceis not too pricey + a $50 eftpos card from Jax. great in wet, much quieter than bridgestone B250 or supercats, maybe even a bit more economy (from 7.4 l/100 to 7.2 l ). No complaints so farNow done 45000km, perhaps another 15000 left. Still quiet, and good in wet and quiet. No complaints

Pretty good
I have recently upgraded my tyres to xm2.I can feel the excellent control and grip over dry and wet compare to my old cheap budget tyre. My old tyres has no wet grip at all and that's why I needed to get better ones. I was expecting better fuel consumption but no noticeable change on that. Overall, I think they are pretty good.

Ticks all the boxes
These tyres are so much better than the Bridgestone RE92s that came with my V6 Camry I'm sticking with them even though they are 25% more expensive than Conti's 4 for price of 3 offer. Got 60,000 out of them and not down to the check mark yet. Only compared to 50K for the RE92s. Much better handling AND FAR SUPERIOR in the wet. My car has racked up 300 K's without missing a beat in all conditions including highway, gravel, off road through paddocks, cane fields, creeks etc and I swear by these tyres.

quieter than Pirelli P1
I had a set of Michelin XM2's on my Toyota Aurion Prodigy and replaced them with a set of Pirelli P1's. I'm not sure of the mileage on the Michelin's because they were on the car which I bought second hand. I've travelled 15000k on thePirelli's and I'm fairly happy but the Michelin's were definitely a more comfortable tire. In all other respects I find them similar but for ride alone I will purchase Michelin's next time. The ride really is so much more comfortable.

Good wearing tyre and a good all-round tyre
These tyres were standard fitment on my Citroen C4 Seduction e-HDI EGS turbo diesel. I’ve travelled 51,000kms with them so far and this was mainly in city/suburban driving and some on highways, I haven’t done any dirt driving so I can’t tell how they perform there. These tyres have worn very well and I think they still have at least 15,000kms worth of tread left on them before I have to replace them. They brake well, are faultless in the wet and around corners, they don’t squeak when pushed hard and I’ve only had 1 puncture with them due to a self-tapping screw imbedding itself into the front left tyre. The tyre is a just a little noisy on highway cruising when driving on that course pebbled paved roads that most of our highways are paved with but on the smooth paved roads they are faultless and very quiet. I am very satisfied with them and they have given me superior service as a tyre of this high quality should. But one thing is that they are expensive when they go for $189 to $199 per tyre. I’m in the process of looking for a new set if I can find a tyre that is just as good but at a lower price, if not, then I would wait and grab these at the first chance when I see them on special anywhere.

Noisy and increased fuel consumption - don't believe the hype
These tyres are by far the most noisy I have ever owned. My fuel consumption in the first 10,000kms has gone up 1.5 litres per 100 (was 8.2 - now 9.7) with pretty much same driving patterns. Even turning at a roundabout at normal speed, you can hear the tyres screeching!

Love these tyres
Fitted a set on my Avalon (size 205x65/15) in December 2012, replacing Falken ZE-912s. Done just over 16,000 km and they've been excellent! They are quiet on coarse-chip roads and handle very well in the wet and dry. Best of all, they're not too soft and show minimal wear. A big improvement over the Falkens that wore out in about 23,000 km of comparable driving!

Great tyres
These are by far the best quality set of tyres I have purchase. They run much quieter and smoother than my existing ones, albeit a bit pricey - $520 for a set of four. However, if price is not a consideration, I would give these 5 stars. Would buy these again.
