Hugely disappointing
These tyres are now 2, almost 3, years old. They replaced my OEM Yokohamas. Haven't liked them since the moment they were put on. They're noisy, uncomfortable and have terrible grip in the wet. They have a reasonable amount of tread left and have only done about 20000k but have recently been aquaplaning and unable to make it up hills in the wet. They will be replaced very shortly with a tyre that I've researched well.

Average Tyre.
Bought a set of four of these for my Honda Accord. They were being sold by the tyre shop as better than average tyres, meaning they weren't in the cheap category.- Pros: Quiet, very little road noise.Never got any punctures or damage. They don't gets little stones stuck in the tread like previous tyres. They wore evenly with no side wear (I always rotated them and kept the pressures good)- Cons: Never got the mileage out of them I was expecting. They were on the expensive side considering they didn't do any more miles compared to cheaper tyres I've had.- Summary: I don't think I would buy them again, unless they were at a very good price on sale. They handled well in the dry and wet.I think to get good mileage out of any tyre, you need a harder compound and therefore they have more road noise. These tyres are softerbut don't get the mileage.I had a set of Brigestones before these and got better millage. Before the Bridgestones were Kingstars of all things. I got excellent mileage out ofthe Kingstars and they were the cheapest tyre I've ever bought.

Goodyear Assurance Triple Max
I just purchased the Goodyear Assurance Triple Max from K mart. They are very good and smooth on the road. The performance of my car improved. Whenever I go on bumps or speed humps, I can feel the car is not very jumpy but smooth on the road. I will buy this tyre again in the future.

These tyres don't seem to deserve a bad rap.
I am surprised at the number of uncomplimentary comments on these tyres. One thing I seemed to notice is that the vehicle on which the tyres were tested seemed to influence a better or worse review of the tyres performance. I am in Australia and have just put a set on my 2002 SG Subaru Forester wagon. They replaced a mixture of similar styled tyres. Instantly I felt more control and a smoother quieter ride. The car feels better, more secure and more comfortable. The steering is direct and responsive and the car is stable in manoeuvring. All round I feel an upgrade and a rewarding experience. I will write more after I have had these tyres on for longer and have driven up mountains and through the wet.

Worst decision ever to buy these tyres
Very disappointed after being advised by the store manager to buy Good year assurance triple max. Lasted only 40,000 km however was promised atleast ll last for 70k. When approached management n store manager said its a fault with d car n bushes n brakes etc. needs to b replaced. So been to 2 toyota dealerships none of them said about any problem in d car n advised brakes r new, bushes r nearly 60% n no problem at all with d car its just d tyres itself but Goodyear management n store manager both blames u if anything happens like this to keep them away for any responsibility. So would never recommend at all....

Great tyre for a family vehicle
Put a set of these on my wife's FWD Toyota Voltz SUV after the old Yokohama's (which were terrible) wore down. These are not sports tyres (no match for the Potenza RE003's I have on my car for grip and precision) but have decent all weather performance, are very predictable, and are quiet and smooth even on the poor quality roads we have around here. After a year of her mostly dropping the kids off at school and the odd open road trip, they seem to be wearing very well.Size 215/55 R16.

Very happy
Almost 60,000 kms done on these on my VZ wagon and still have legal thread. Excellent tires for the price. Quiet on the road and reduced my fuel consumption. Have had to brake in traffic suddenly a couple of times at speed and they have pulled me up quickly. No dramas.I have them rotated every 10,000 Kms and they are wearing very well. I drive on dirt 15% and surfaced roads 85%. Would recommend and I am looking to replace with another set

OK for general driving, better options for a solid feel
I bought 2 for the front of an Accord Euro in size 225/45/17, coming from a set of 4 bridgestone ecopia PZX which are reasonable rigid but don't grip that well.Overall the tyres don't grip too badly but they have quite soft and spongy tyre walls and need a high tyre pressure to retain the feel of the tyre. I think if the profile of my tyres was any higher than 45 then the performance would be quite poor.Fuel economy - any improvement has been fairly unnoticeable.Despite the somewhat spongy feel of the tyre they do seem to grip fairly well.General advice for anyone who wants a good feel or performance tyre is not to buy any low rolling resistance tyre such as this or the ecopia. Better bets are Bridgestone potenza or turanza or the goodyear Eagle F1 range.

Not as good as expected
Recently changed all four tyres to Assurancee Triplemax from a set of bald Bridgy Turanzas. It is quieter, smoother and has much better rolling distance. But comparing to the Efficientgrip Suv i have on another car, it is much noisier and significantly less grip. The grip feels only a little better than the previous bald tyres, and feels less responsive for handling, my Euro hatch suddenly handles like a Corolla....The fuel consumption is awaiting to be tested, but is expected to improve, will follow up on updates. At 480 a set, it's probably not bad value, however at the time I was shopping around, a set of Pirreli P1 was about the same price, based on good reviews on this site, I'd recommend that one, or go with Eagel Effecientgrip instead.Update: 1 week in another weakness found, it has absolutely no tolerance through pot holes, even minor ones. What I used think it was a smooth stretch of road at uni, now I know exactly where the pot holes are.Update 2: There is no fuel reduction compare to my previous tyres. And if you fancy a little bit of spirited driving on twisted roads, Forget about this tyre. Very disappointed
