About Goodyear tyres

Goodyear is one of the most recognisable tyre manufacturers on the planet - and for good reason. For a long time, Goodyear tyres were equipped by the world's best Formula 1 teams - and the brand is still provides tyres for virtually all motorsports today.

You might not need Grand-Prix performance from your Goodyear tyres - but the research and development that's gone into making Goodyear some of the best motorsport tyres available also means they're some of best road-going tyre brands available in terms of safety, fuel economy, and road handling

Are Goodyear tyres worth it?

Goodyear tyres are a premium brand - so they tend to be some of the more costly options in a tyre store. However, this small additional cost often repays itself a number of times over the life of the tyre.

Why?

It's all down to the ultra-high performance and durability you can expect from the tyre in all weather conditions. Use of specialist patented composite materials mean tyre wear is reduced - so Goodyear tyres will often last longer than the competition. What's more, fuel economy is increased when using a tyre like the CS Fuelmax - thanks to tread patterns that are designed to get more miles from a tank - without compromising on safety.

Braking performance is improved against many competitors too. Industry tests show that the Goodyear Tyres Assurance Armorgrip range can improve stopping distances by as much as 15 metres - also, tests show the Assurance Triplemax 2 offers similar results in wet conditions.

How much do Goodyear tyres cost?

Goodyear Australia offers tyres as low as $49 depending on the size you need.

Goodyear tyres have a massive range of tyres suitable for virtually all vehicles

Whether you're going off road in a 4x4, driving the family car, looking for tyres for a performance vehicle, riding a motorbike, or using a light commercial vehicle for business; using cutting-edge tyre technology like Durawall, HydroGrip, QuietTread, and Silent Armour; Goodyear tyres safety, comfort and maximum fuel-efficiency in every ride.

GoodYear Assurance CS Fuel Max
Good all round tyre.
Front tyres scrubbed out on edges. Possibly due to wheel alignment. Ford dealer didnt comment other than saying I needed 2 new tyres after the last service. The other 2 tyres will easily see 40k plus. They seem to grip well in wet or dry and are fair ...

Goodyear assurance triplemax review
Good in the wet, hold road well, brake well in both wet and dry. Good cornering, noise is fairly low. Wear is reasonable for the fact they are a good safe tyre that does what it is claimed to do.

Great tyres
My car hasn’t got one of the greatest turning circles or for on road noise, but these tyres have seen about 40% of their time off the bitumen and are almost flawless. On road, these tyres are brilliant- towing, they’ve never let me down!
