2011 Toyota Troopy
S/T MAXX Flamin awesome
I bought a set of 6. 305/70R16. Fitted to my Troopy that averages 3.1t general daily weight & up to 3.8t when touring & towing. Rotated every 10k klm. I'm now up for a new set after 95,000klm still with 3mm tread before I hit the wear markers. Have done every type of terrain you can think of. Beach, desert, desert stones & rocks, very rough corrugations, muddy bush tracks, snow in the VHC & bitumen hwy on 35 deg plus days. I cannot fault these tires. They have been great.

Worth every cent cheap tyers cheap results
I've had alot of different tyers ranging from performance tyers to off road too heavy vehicles and ive never had tyers like the stmax ill never choice a other tyer for my off road vehicles agian love all I would change is having the old school white writing on them

Great tyres that last in Pilbara outback conditions
These tyres will get you anywhere around Australia people say don’t put muddys on for highway driving but these tyres are quite and awesome how they handle on the road.

2003 Toyota Landcruiser Prado GXL 120 4L
Best performing all-round 4wd Tyre for All Conditions
This is my second set of Cooper S/T MAXX with the first set delivering 85,000km with no punctures. After 50 years of 4 wheel driving I highly recommend this most reliable, long wearing and high performing 4wd tyre for all on-road/off-road driving in all weather conditions.

2012 Mazda BT50 Freelance Cab chassis
Fantastic AT Tyre
My vehicle is a Mazda BT50 Freelance Cab Chassis.
Modifications: 3" Stainless power exhaust, Snorkel intake, DP Chip and performance suspension springs & Shocks with a 2:" lift.
These tyres (Cooper ST Max 285 70 17) have exceeded all of my expectations.
As an all terrain tyre they are exceptionally good on sealed roads Braking, Cornering at speed with no noticeable sidewall flex or body roll dry and solid in the wet. Can break traction in the wet under acceleration but i don't think even the best road tyres would handle the torque of my beast in the wet under acceleration.
I haven't done a lot of off-road 4x4 driving but recently while renovating at home i had to reverse up hill out where i had parked after a lot of wet clay had had been laid down to build up my driveway. I did not have to get towed out and did not make a big mess getting out. I was impressed.
I have done 20K on these tyres and think that they already had 20k+ on them before i purchased it. they starting to generate a bit more road noise now as they slowly wear down.
I have never felt this safe on AT tyres
I would definitely buy these again.

2011 Mitsubishi PB Challenger 4wd
Heavy Duty Tough 4wd Outback Touring Tyre
On 3rd set of ST Maxx, first 2sets of LT245/75R16, got just over 70,000kms on 4 and half tyre rotations per set but tyres changed with about 3 mm of tread left above legal limit. They need regular rotations every at least 7,500km to even out heel toe wear and to keep noise down. Tough traction tyre off road with reasonable on road performance.
Only 15,000kms on 3rd set but LT235/85R16 so too early to to comment on tread life.

Coopers ST Maxx - Great A/T tyres
Excellent allterain tyres.
Extremely durable & tough - no punctures - will last 100,000klm with no trouble.
Can handle all dirt tracks in Oz.
Great wet & dry braking with minimal tyre noise
Just completed the Big Lap (28,000klm) towing a camper trailer, with no tyre problems.

80,000kms ha!
I have little chance of getting to 80,000 km, done approx. 20,000 kms and my tyres are about one third worn.Tyres have been rotated at specified distances and wheel alighment carried out. Not very happy with the wear on expensive tyres.

2001 Toyota Landcruiser
Coopers ST Maxx
No punctures in 55K.
Great grip on and off road.
Hard to rip chunks off in the rocks.
Quiet on the black top.
Excellent performance.
However, the sidewall faces de-laminate and starts to look dangerous. The raised letters start to fall off and the tire looks real tatty.
Great performing tire but the sidewall thing has me worried. Talking to other drives, this seems to be a common problem with Coopers.
I need 6 new tires and not at all sure if I'll fit these again.

Toyota Land Cruiser 100 series
Dangerous
I have only owned 4WD in my 25 years of driving Cooper ST Max are the worst tyre I have ever used, in my opinion they make the split rim dunlop profile a master in comparison. Ok in the dirt however they are supposed to be an all-terrain, nothing short of dangerous in the wet, from day one, never again back to BFG.

Toyota 60 Series Landcruiser
Overpriced crap
I believed the considerable hype and bought these expensive tyres. Dangerous in the wet and prone to delaminating make them a very bad choice and the so called warranty is a joke. A friend of mine had a cruiser fitted with these too and had troubles off road with punctures and on road with grip and off course that woeful warranty. So much so that we are now telling all that will listen NOT to buy these.
